    Russ Anber???

What has this guy done to merit a place on your top trainers list?

Name one great fighter he has. The only thing he's famous for is getting David Lemieux a loss against cab driver Marco Rubio. To this day, Lemieux still blames Russ Anber for running out of gas in that fight.

Dan Birmingham is ten times better.

It can be difficult to score. Certain trainers will suit certain boxers better. There's no definitive 'right' way to be trained

Freddie Roach can be flawed in his training but the way he pushes for offense always make them exciting. When I hear a fighter is starting with Freddie Roach, I think awwwwwww snap it's on.
Robert Garcia is really good. You can notice the improvement in his fighters after they train with him. Maidana, for example, somehow began to develop a jab.
    Virgil Hunter knows his ****.
I don't really know anything about TMT so I can't give an opinion on the Mayweathers but from what I hear, Floyd is their only real success story.

One who hasn't been mentioned, though deserved to be in the shortlist for the 2014 Trainer of the Year, is Shingo Inoue. He only trains two young fighters but has built them from the ground up and both are now world class with one being a 2-weight world champion and the other being world class.

Sure thats why they produce so many top prospects and dominant champs... oh wait.... in reality going to train at their gym is usually the death knell of a career.
