Yeah at HW I'm not sure if he's the next big thing but he really looks promising at CW, I hope he stays there for a while and has a solid career there.

Usyk has done something similar to what Tanaka did. He's spent a few fights getting a few rounds under the belt. Get used to the pro ring, don't go for the kill straight away.

When we think of pro experience we spend far too long talking about "fights" and not "rounds". Usyk has now had 6 bouts and 32 rounds, been 7 rounds and been 9 rounds, all against good competition with winning records.

If he gets another lengthy bout in there (presumably his next one) then it'll be time to unleash what he can really do.

It's something many US and UK prospects fail to do when they are matched with patsies happy to fall over.

if you were to post LEGITIMATE points about black fighters or fighters of ANY background I would have NO problem with it....I don't TARGET ee fighters BECAUSE they're ee...i target them because they're undeservedly OVERHYPED...and OVERRATED.

I have NO problem with ggg or kovalev personally...but I am 100% correct in my observations and my criticisms....discrediit my arguments if you can...but, there's a lotta communists who come to this forum and they don't like what certain posters say, so they try to get the mods to ban those people....then the mod tells me ii haven't broken the rules but he's doing me a favor by not banning me...wtf?

Usyk is the world's best crusierweight
Kovalev is the world's best LHWT
Golovkin is the world's best MWT
Lomachenko is one of the world's two best FWT

The last three can't be denied, and I'm not even a nut hugger, I think they would have lost to, say, Holyfield, Roy Jones and Michael Spinks, but obvious is obvious.

Ah, so you do target - your own phrasing - a specific group, in discriminatory fashion and to the exclusion of other groups, which means your first statement ("I don't TARGET ee fighters BECAUSE they're ee") belies the truth in your 2nds. :hey

I love the way he threw in a token white guy at the end of a string of exclusively black fighters.

...retired fifty years now, unlike the rest of his list, and lo & behold he's dropping the name of a guy that beat SRR.

I have to wonder just how much Giardello footage he actually has seen. :think ...or could it be that he only pumps him up because it helps Robinson save face if he acknowledges Giardello as great? :yikes

geez, dude....you never read any of my posts? you never seen me talk about canelo or pacman? so if i said, i don't target pacman because he's filipino, i target him because he's overrated, it would mean i'm targetting him to the exclusion of other fighters?

i never said giardello was great...i said he was one of my fav fighters to watch. there's a big difference. you might have thought it was a joke, but i was being serious...giardello was not a big puncher, but he was a technically skilled guy...i have a preference for counterpunchers with good boxing ability. i thought giardello had some of that...the fact that he lacked speed made his fights more exciting and competitive. i liked how he would fight or box his way through tough fights.
