Whats with all the Pac is shot threads now!?!?!

The Cotto-Canelo match was ruined because Cotto was moving to Roc Nation, he had no intention of signing under Top Rank. If Canelo was patient, we'd still have that fight.

And Moonves stepped in to be the mediator between Top Rank and TMT, Showtime and HBO, Arum and Haymon. Not to force Floyd's hand, to get everyone on the same page and do away with the bitterness and bickering between all of the camps.

 

i have to say alot of floyd fans here have not changed there tune (myself included) iv always said floyd would beat pac and i stick by that.

pac fans were begging for floyd to find some ***** and take on pac, they still refuse to believe he did, they say moonvez forced him into it (fair enough if you want to believe that) but tyson won most of his fights before they began because guys were **** SCARED of him, imagine how much of a detriment that is on floyd and his performance to have to face the boogyman that he is so scared of.

everyone was on the same page about pac until this fight got signed, yes he was past his prime, yes the knockout loss to marquez had an effect on him. but he is still rightfully p4p #2 coming off a great win over bradley and a destruction of a much less deserving fighter in algieri, they still claimed floyd was scared of losing the 0 they still claimed pac would take it if they fought and now the tune has changed

if you ever wanted to know which fanbase is worse you have your answer.. atleast idiots like MVC and markq stand by there fighter. if these excuses came after the fight i would not have been suprised but NOW? jesus... thats some sad ****

 

Mayweather was scared to death of pac he is still scared of this shot pac and he was also forced by moonves to take this fight...........

He started getting confidence after marquez knocked him out cold he is still scared he wanted to fight cotto Instead that's why the fight was delayed but moonves forced him and told don't worry pac is finished

Floyd ducked Pac till it became completely untenable to duck him any longer.

This is not the least bit controversial (except on these forums). Everybody in the boxing world knows it. Pac's family and friends know it At least twenty current or former ATGs have stated it publicly.


The fight is now a go, for whatever reason. As Floyd has remarked, this is not the same Pac. He's not the Pac of Cotto, Delahoya, Hatton, Margarito.

BUt neither is it the same Floyd. This is not the Floyd of Coralles, Castillo, Delahoya, Judah.


Both men are past prime. It would have been nice to see this fight in 2010, but that ship has sailed.


The fight on May 2nd, 2015 is still the biggest and most anticipated event since Montreal 1980.

The damage done by the years to each man is roughly the same, so there should be no excuses made on account of the past-prime thing.

Floyd is still the favourite (by a small margin) and that was true five years ago.

And while he has the superior skill-set and should be a slight favourite, if both guys bring their 2015 A-game, this will be his sternest test since he turned pro.

Pac does have the tools to beat him.


Long term, this is a fight Floyd needs. If he gets the victory here, and follows it up with a couple more decent wins, I think he easily cracks the top 20 alltime.

Maybe even, twenty years or so down the road, the top ten.

Moreover, he stands to make up to half as much from this fight as he's earned lifetime so far.

For Pac, his biggest payday ever and the very distinct possibility of pulling off his best career win.

No excuses !

The past is in the past.

Whoever wins this in May will be the best of his generation.

 

To be fair mvc has also started making excuses he made threads saying if Pac won it shouldn't really count.

But yea I agree in the whole pac fans are coming up with the excuses

 

MVC, just like boxingmaster and 90% of the Pac fans here, has his doubts. He's scared a little.

It's quite funny to see these crazy fans having doubts make you wonder can they really enjoy the fight?
