Either he's shot from being annihilated by the Cobra

or he needs 6 months rest at least.

Cause in the last 2 fights since being Cobra'd.. he doesn't look the same fighter.. he looks tired and shot. He always looked really sharp before that, in the first Froch fight he was razor sharp.

Being shot and having a bad chin ( not quite Khan level but still chinny) ........spells disaster

before him looking past it I would have tipped him to beat Anthony Dirrell every day of the week, but judging by his last 2 performances he'd probably lose...

Two bad performances which he still won comfortably and he gets called shot. The amount of fickle people is ridiculous.

Froch's victims like Abraham, Bute, and Taylor.. have never been the same after they have stepped in the ring with the Cobra.. it's looking like the same thing has happened to Groves :deal

Groves is still a very good fighter, needs confidence boost to make him the fighter he was before. He seems to me to be a confidence based fighter, like some footballers, they play their best football when they are confident and I think that may be the case for him too.

I didn't think he was that bad against Rebrasse it was similar to his Glen Johnson performance were he threw a ludicrous amount. Against Douglin it took him a while to find his groove as he was looking past him. By From the 4th round on when he stuck to his jab and boxed him he looked a lot better.

I still stick to my theory he needed a long rest after the second Froch fight and also does not need the grief of managing fighters.

He was/is too proud to admit he needed a rest, jumped straight back in after two hard fights and I think he looks mentally and physically tired.

He's not shot and he's not got a bad chin, laughable.

Best of Groves is yet to come.
