No, im just not an unobjective nuthugger who is afraid to post the truth as opposed to a hero worshipping blow queen like yourself. Now how about that list?

Interesting breakdown. We differ on Frazier for sure. I think Holmes would control him with his jab, which i see as not as fast but more powerful than Ali's. This of course is just educated guess work at best.

As far as Liston vs Foreman. I agree Liston was technically better but think he would slow down much with foremans pressure and strength. It would be much like the Lyle fight in my opinion.

Overall when i made this thread i was thinking more about the fighters mental and physical strengths that would allow them to beat the most styles. The list is by no mean perfect and not definitive to or by myself. Im open to listening to all objective ****ysis and comparisons and appreciate the input.

Sonny was a force to be reckoned with .

He was a Genetic Freak .

Biggest fists in the history of boxing .

Ended fights with his jab alone at times .

According to Foreman , he was the literally the only man that can overpower him (That was a faded old version of Sonny that did that) .

Hes the only man in history Ali admitted to being afraid of .

He also called Liston the most technical fighter hes ever been in the ring with .

PRIME Liston can beat any other HW mentioned in this thread .

Many good posts in this thread. I'll make a short contribution.

    1. Lennox Lewis. Had size, strength, skill, power, adaptability, inside game, outside game and a lot of dog. If you end up in the ring with him, that means you´re in for a lot of hurt, and there's not much you'll be able to do about it.

    2. Muhammed Ali. The ring wizard. The mix of speed, reflexes, skill, ring-IQ, toughness, stamine, chin and creativity means he'll never let you take the pace.

    3. Mike Tyson. Well, what can you do about a bomb programmed to detonate as soon as you get close to it?

    4. Wladimir Klitschko. A wonderful athlete and very dedicated. Possibly the hardest puncher of all times, and very awkward. His reach, skill and power means he'll win on the outside, and on the inside he'll make use of Emmanuel Stewards trademark octopus routine.

    5. Joe Frazier :!:

This is a head 2 head list?

Larry Holmes? The guy who OPENLY ducked Greg Page and Pinklon Thomas because they were too good?

Joe Louis? The guy who was put on the canvas by a crude 5'8" fat **** ice delivery guy?

Liston? Who did he beat that we even have a good gauge of how good he was?

Johnson? The guy who was knocked cold by a LHW in Joe Chonyski?

These were great fighters for their time, but he idea that they would be dominant in any ear is laughable.

nowhere near as laughable as the guy who got wiped out in seconds by a retired nobody in sanders holding his own in eras when world title defences were never even contemplated against retired nobodies.

I don't understand how many people have Lennox Lewis as number 1 .

The man was great , But very much beatable .

Ray Mercer beat him in my eyes .

Ron Lyle himself would take out Lennox .
