What are you talking about? There might be 1% blacks on this entire site (that would be 1 (MAYBE) out of every 100 ESB posters). It is the primary reason why all the polls are so regularly daft. They have to be discounted 30% (for that very reason) more times than not. Are you that clueless that you actually believe you are reading posts from "many racist blacks"? "Blacks" are the most under-represented group in terms of the posting demographic on this entire site. How is it you manage to miss all the posts from racist whites? There is nothing more ubiquitous considering the site's ho_ogeneity and you post on the General mostly where it is impossible to miss. The racists on the Classic are a good bit less transparent comparatively so I can see how you might be obtuse enough to let it slip right over your head here.

It is unimaginable to have so little representation (i.e., essentially none) from such a successful group when the subject is athletics. I suppose they either participated (as athletes) or have lives in which the scarcity of time means the choice between actually working out at the gym or posting about boxing on the internet (as lofty a role as internet mouse clicker might be for one imagining some simulated connection to athletics from the comfort of their desk or couch).

Or, perhaps they are just uninterested in posting about athletics here (such a welcoming environment) - or more likely, in arguing with the one-third or more racist whites that they would have to encounter if they decided to come to ESB. Who could ever blame them for passing on such an exercise?

You can be certain that the number of racist "whites" on ESB eclipse any racist "blacks" by .. oh, probably about ... 60 to 1.

I am guessing you are still a boy or a very, very young man by the things you post. At least get yourself into and through university so your horizons have some chance at broadening (through your interactions, exposures, the curriculum, and the various instructors/educators you'll have) and you do not end up as just another racist bigot as an adult. If you actually (had any ability to) go through any major collegiate program and participate in athletics you'd have a greater recognition of the respective qualities, capabilities, and histories of athletes from all groups and ethnicities.

Clearly those adults that brought you into this world haven't been much help at getting your head on straight to date. The world has more than enough bigots already. Try to grow beyond such people.

Some have been that way so long they don't even remember who they are. They actually imagine in their old age (as they bad mouth Obama (while ignoring the cavalcade of lousy figureheads that have held office in our country since its inception) and make some other idiotic comparison of him to Stalin, etc. on a boxing site) that they weren't also happily bad mouthing Ali (before the country's cultural view changed and the times evolved a bit) and complaining about the "outside agitator and communist" MLK in their youth and that they don't remain standing on the opposite side of blacks today, policies affecting people of color and the disadvantaged, and contending the most ridiculous BS that "whites" are under some imaginary systematic attack. Their absurdity is palpable.

Fortunately there are a good number of "whites" from the United States and Europe that will always intellectually stand against these moronic bigoted racists. Even if you find it hard to believe today, go get an education, stop spending so much time on a boxing chat site when you haven't yet accomplished anything, and you'll end up better for the effort.

The point being that nobody is going to turn around on a fighter because he did well against Chavez Jr. Chavez Jr. has not been seen as an elite fighter in some time.

 

Excellent post. I am an African-American, and I like this site, and hoped for years that Mayweather would KO Paquiao, just to get rid of all of these idiots, send them back to MMA or whatever. Unfortunatley, Golovkin and Kovalev came along, and I realize they will just move to their threads if that happens. I like G and K, I think that they are highly entertaining fighters, and I agree that their are a few black guys here who are ridiculously pro black fighters, but, it is nothing compared to the racism generated by "Mohh-Knee" and his supporters, now on the Russian bandwagon.

 

All this racial stuff needs to get cleaned out.

Amen to that M. Every poster deserves an opinion and preference. But it usually starts with one misguided and sick puppy to start the bandwagon. And as I posted before there was one character who constantly used the vile word "whitey" to denigrate every white fighter as inferior. No more and no less. So I told him off for his constant belittling of "white' fighters of the past and present, some of them I knew...The amazing and odd thing about this episode was after so many posts by this character whose origin I know nothing about [or care less] is that
not one poster in all this time has taken him to task before. Not ONE...I have been watching great fighters for over 65 years. Fighters of all shades and colours, who risk their lives and health
entering the ring each time. I have admired those favorites of mine from my first idol Beau Jack, Ike Williams, Willie Pep,
the bombastic Rocky Graziano, Mathew Sadd, Rocky Marciano,
Joe Frazier who I first saw in the Olympics finals losing to rotund Buster Mathis, the great beloved Alexis Arguello, up to the present GGG and hammer handed Kovalev, brave guys who deserve our admiration, and not to be called "whitey" or whatever origin they may be...Life is too damned short for any
