Has Mayweather fought the best Welterweights available?

    Mayweather has fought 9 bouts: 7 against ranked opposition. Those 7 had all won at least one fight at 147 pounds.
    Pacquiao has fought 10 bouts: 6 against UNRANKED opposition. 5 had never won a fight at 147 pounds.

    Side Note: And one of Mayweather's unranked opponents knocked Pacquiao out in 6.

    Mayweather ducked margo,williams prime cotto/mosley/winky/..........ducked pac in 2009

    Floyd let a hot WW beat each other first before taking on the scrub. Floyd has a great timing in choosing fights. Just like now with pacquiao, he knew better not to fight the beast 2009 version.

    Yea one thing about the coward is he does have great timing in fighting fighters who he was scared of he did it against mosley waited until he got shot

    now he is doing it with pac because in his words pac is shot

    You're right. Floyd hasn't cleaned out 147, and his resume at 147 isn't great. But compared to Pacquiao? It's stellar. :lol: It honestly ****s all over Pac's 147 resume.

    So if Mayweather is the "legendary duck master of 147 pounds," what does that make Pacquiao? Pac doesn't even fight a ranked opponent most of the time, and was KTFO in 6 by an unranked fighter at 147.

    How do you duck to fight better fighters? Like you can't duck Lee to fight Golovkin that doesn't make sense. If you can name something one of those guy's did before 08/9 at the earliest that makes them a better win than Judah,Baldomir,Hoya, or Hatton please explain.

    Cotto (154 WBA Champion)
    Back down to 147 against Guerrero (WBC title defense vs interim champion)
    Back up to 154 against Canelo. (Unification bout for WBA/WBC at 152 catchweight)
    Back down to 147 for Maidana (Unification bout for WBA/WBC championships)
    Maidana (Rematch)
    Upcoming - Pacquiao (Unification bout for WBA/WBC/WBO championships)

    Mayweather currently holds 4 of the 8 major titles at 147 and 154 pounds. Beating Pacquiao would give him 5 of 8. I'd say his recent record has been very good.

    Anyone who brings up Mosley is an imbecile, Mayweather called him out years before he actually fought him, Mosley said he didn't want to fight Floyd. Mayweather called out Cotto in like 2005, Top Rank blocked this fight stating Cotto wasn't ready. I find it funny that all the pac****s are already making excuses for the beating Pacquiao is going to receive.
