Canelo's getting bad advice. he looks terrible with draining to 154. move up and see what you really got, boy.

I agree. I don't feel the title should have been on the line in a catch weight bout.

Other than that it was a good fight.

I have the same opinion about Pac vs Cotto. Good fight, Pac's best win at 147, but no title should have been on the line.

Floyd said catchweight fights doesn't count.

His fans should obey floyd's wish.

His biggest win was believing Floyd would be to scared to fight him....remember how you, Skip Bayless, and fans like you claimed Floyd would never fight Canelo...too big, too strong, too young? Remember how Floyd is chicken and would never fight a young lion? People like you are the ones who overhype and overrate any opponent you think might give Floyd trouble...blame yourself!

Really, that is his biggest win? You want us to give Floyd credit for beating someone (at a catchweight) whose biggest accomplishment in his boxing career is getting Skip Bayless to say Floyd is scared of him?:patsch

What about the massive weight advantage Margarito had over Pacquiao.

And by the way, didn't Oscar give Canelo the blueprint? Did those extra 2 lbs ruin it?

I see you didn't address the video where Floyd himself says catchweight fights don't count.

I am willing to bet you discredit Pac for his win against Cotto because of a 2lb catchweight, am I right?

Was Margarito an undefeated, junior middleweight champion, young, prime and in possession of the Oscar blueprint?

See my response above. I have no idea why people don't take an objective attitude to this subject.

I agree with anybody who feels no title should ever be on the line if there is a catchweight. I have no problem with champions from different weight classes meeting for a bout, and using a catchweight, but no title should be on the line. Only bragging rights.

The catchweight made nothing even in Floyd/Canelo, Canelo still outweighed Floyd massively. I can see if Floyd ended up the bigger, stronger man but he didn't...and many of you change your story up too much, one day you claim weight drained another you say canelo tried to outbox the boxer. You want it both ways, anything but give Floyd credit

Yep I discredit it but at the same time I consider it his best win outside M.A.Barrera

But to compare, Cotto did in fact look weak, lethargic, and had no punch resistance that night. For me though it was less about the catchweight and more about Manny on PEDS

One day you claim catch weight fights shouldn't count, but when Floyd does it, it's okay. You flip flop the same as the rest.

Manny's win over Cotto has been discredited for years because of a 2 lb catchweight. Even at 147, Manny would have obliterated Cotto, but since it's a catchweight, Floyd fans continue to discredit it.

Why? You think the 2 pounds made any difference?
