    Lightweights 135lbs
(not including Pacquaio because he vacated)
    Juan Manuel Marquez, Champion
    1. Nate Campbell
    3. Juan Diaz
    4. Joel Casamayor
    5. David Diaz
    6. Julio Diaz
    7. Antonio Pitalua
    8. Michael Katsidis

as you can clearly see Manny clearly picked on the weakest titlist he could when he moved up to 135 and left as soon as he could. He didn't fight any of the top dogs there and refused to give Marquez a rematch until they saw him look vulnerable at 144.

One thing to mention here is this was the same time that Marquez moved up to fight the lineal champion and then beating top champions and contenders like Juan Diaz, and Micheal Katsidis. Pac then continued to avoid fighting top guys in favor of David Diaz

So when people like me point to him cherry picking its because its the truth he has simply not fought the best available opponents at the right time.

he fought guys like cotto, algieri, marquez, margarito at catchweights sorry this is not acceptable

lol, Manny left the 135 lb division so he can fight Oscar De La Hoya.

You really think Manny is scared of any of those guys? Nate Campbell? Juan Diaz? LOL. Had he stayed at 135, he would have destroyed all those guys, but he had bigger fish to fry.

Floyd has been in the welterweight division for how many years? How is it possible that he hasn't fought the best welterweight available?

Took him long enough. He's been in the division for like 10 years lol. Plus, he had to be cornered into taking this fight. If Floyd had other options, we wouldn't be seeing May-Pac on May 2nd.

He should have fought him years ago where he would get an insane credit. If he wins, what difference does it made when bradley and marquez already beat floyd to it?

^^^Are you kidding? Nobody really wanted to see oscar vs manny because of oscar size but roach and pac knew oscar will destroyed his body to move down to 147 pounds for the first time in over 8 years which oscar look like a walking zombie so it was easy for pac to move 2 weight class.

Would pac move up 2 weight division to fight lets say a prime undefeated de la hoya at ww limit???

^^^^So you going by ppv buys? Umm whos the headliner for that fight?? Oh yeah it was oscar who was the bigger draw in the history of boxing smh. If pac is just a name with a bigger name like oscar? It would sell smh. I see you talk about catchweight of floyd vs canelo? well even though the fight was at a catchweight which i didnt like, the ppv buy rate was the 2nd biggest in boxing history behind oscar vs floyd.
