Just thinking how Derry Matthews with 9 losses and 2 draws gets a world title shot lol imagine if he lands a big shot on Abril

But Amere Con really takes the biscuit

This guy was a lightweight and struggling at commonwealth level against hand picked super featherweights Willie Limond and Michael Gomez. Limond should have had the win by KO because it was a slow count,go and count the knockdown! and Gomez only had that one fight at lightweight and he heavily dropped Khan and almost stopped him

Khan then gets destroyed in 50 seconds by a unknown Colombian plumber in one of the worst showings of lack of punch resistance.

Then he fights a totally past it not even in the top 50 Barrera and wins on a CUT .. when the fight should have been a non contest.

and suddenly he gets a shot at Andreas Kotelnik in the weight above - light welterweight !!!

Ive never known a guy get a undeserving shot like that before. Kotelnik was the weakest champ in boxing and 140 was the weakest division. A bum like Khan should never have been a 'world champion' .

Gavin Rees is also an example of a guy getting a **** he didnt deserve, Rees should never have been world champ either. The 140 division has been responsible for most of the weakest world champions in the last 8 years.

It has to be Michael Bentt and although he spend at lot of his life in America was born in London, so I guess he qualifies as being British. Also if I remember correctly they did plug the Herbie Hide contest as being a bit of a domestic "super" fight.

Against the odds, won by first round KO before loosing the title in his first defence against Hide, at the Den football ground in London.

He'd beaten Pep better than Mayweather had, blew away Pendleton and Oliveira like they were nothing, outboxed Tackie better than Tszyu or Mitchell had, and went toe-to-toe to beat Vince Phillips who beat Tszyu.
