How many fights did it take JMM to understand the jerky style of PAC:think:huh Floyd WILL NOT KO PAC:deal PAC will in no way KO FLOYD :deal :smoke
I hope you didn't mistake my post as supporting mayweather, make no mistake I want Pacquiao to knock the snot out of FMJ. I just don't want this fight to be tainted in any way. I also want to be able to give full credit to the winner of this bout regardless of who that ends up being.
If you want to go that way then the same can be said that pac gets no credit in beating floyd left overs in de la hoya, hatton, mosley?
That wasn't the case at all. To begin with the same punch put Manny down earlier in the fight and then Marquez spent the next few rounds trying to time Manny and throw it again with more venom. He took some damage in doing so but I guess he figured he could handle Manny's power and afford some damage in the gamble to put him down and out. The rest is history.
De La Hoya - shot and weight-drained (retired straight after), Hatton - ignored advice from his actual trainer during camp listening to some bum instead and jumped in with his hands down, Mosley - old, gun-shy and stiff, Cotto - boiled down to his bones. Pacquiao's career is larger smoke, mirrors and careful matchmaking.
Watch the fight again my friend , rounds 4 , 5 and 2.30 of 6, Manny was in complete control and JMM was more hurt than at any other time in any of the previous 3 fights. Also I dont think it was a lucky punch , it was very well timed , but it wasnt the same as the one in the second , the one that put Manny out was a straight right , where as the one in the second was an over hand right. Very different angles. peace.
Yes. :good I have no idea why somebody would say it was the same punch. The first KD was a looping shot. KTFO6 was straight down the pipe. Picture perfect shot right on the 'sweet spot.' Anybody who has boxed/fought knows what I'm talking about. You could be the baddest man on the planet, but if you get caught there: Goodnight. At the very least you're seeing stars. (Just got home from work, 3:30 AM after a 16 hour day. Being an Engineer has it perks, but days like today...... :dead) I do agree Pac was in control at the time of his unfortunate plank. However, Pac was making the mistake of receiving shots to give them. JMM was hurt, but he was still throwing, and landing. Probably even more dangerous at that moment. Prudence would have been the correct action, but hindsight is 20/20.
depends on how he beats him. the timing of this fight is already past it so you cannot expect it as the same when they were prime like the fights of calzahge-jones-hopkins, srr-hagler, barrera-marquez, floyd-mosley, pac-delahoya, etc.
Barrera was 29 years old and it was his 60th pro fight before he fought pacquiao for the first time. I said it before barrera wasnt a prime fighter anymore. Barrera show it vs the second morales fight and his fight vs a decline, shot tapia that he didnt look like a prime fighter. Anybody with a brain can see that. It's like saying chavez sr was still prime when he fought randall when chavez was still undefeated.
watch round 5 after pac knocks down marquez marquez lands the exact same punch he landed in round 6 remember roy going ooooooh pac touched both his gloves together as well the difference is pac never lunged foward
It depends on how he beats Pac. If he dominates Pac, and get the KO, then yes he should get more credit then Marquez and Bradley. If he just dominates the fight and don't get the KO. He should get higher then Bradley and a toss up with Marquez, because Marquez took a lot of punishment, and looked like he was on his way out before that bomb dropped on Pac chin. If wins a close fight, then Marquez gets more credit, Bradley is questionable.
exactly Marquez got the ko over pac but he was not dominating him before the ko I remember virgil hunter saying he would rather his fighter get a stoppage than a ko because a stoppage leaves no doubt and thats true. the only way a KO would be better than a stoppage is if the fighter was putting a beating before the ko came. I feel Floyd would beat up Pac and stop him which would be far more dominating than getting a ko without dominance.
So if mayweather easily beat pacquiao to a decision then it's a toss up mayweather beating pac to marquez ko pac? atsch The things dumb ppl will say is amazing. It took marquez 4 f4cking fights to finally beat pacquiao but if floyd easily beat pacquiao in just the first fight facing each other, it's a toss up? really? lmfao.
