    Great counter-argument lol.
Please enlighten me and point out exactly when Castillo lands? Mayweather controlled that round clearly. The commentators clearly had an agenda so it too much to ask you think for yourself?

There's no circumstance under which Castillo had the better of round 8. None. Watch it back.

what is your argument, your provide zero proof of mayweather landing flush and say castillo did not? that isn't an argument that is an opinion. therefore i gave you my own opinion.

i didn't even watch the fight with commentary, i never do when scoring fights, either do judges.

My point is neither fighter landed anything noteworthy the entire round. The difference being Mayweather outjabbed Castillo controlling the range whenever he decided to jump in. His frustration showed with the point deduction, 10-8 round.

nonsense just watched the round. mayweather lands 6 pitty pat jabs that are grazing not flush in the first two minutes of the fight at 2:30 1:56 1:46 1:39 1:27 1:14.

castillo lands the biggest shot of the round at :55 (straight right hand flush). castillo lands right hook to body at :48 and :11. in the last ten seconds castillo gets work in on the clinch all scoring shots until the ref breaks it up.

Close fight but floyd took the early rounds and then a couple later in the fight. What one must remember is that punches on the arms don't count, which made up for Castillos bogus punch stats.

Close fight I had it a draw, was two massive swing rounds which could have decided it.

Hook to the body at :11 was way below the belt, not a scoring punch. The straight right at :55 was probably the best punch of the round but carried little power as Mayweather barely flinched and didn't back up. 20 seconds of success in a 3minute round doesn't sway my opinion he lost the round. Mayweather landed more jabs in the last minute also, with a few bodyshots of his own. If his jabs were pitty pat why did it stop Castillo going to work for the first 2minutes?

Good points. Castillo won no less than 8 rds in that fight.

Mayweather's cherry was saved and Castillo was sacrificed for that cherry. :patsch:patsch:patsch

I wasn't a fan of boxing back then, but for some reason I watched that fight. I had Castillo winning.

:11 wasn't below the belt. :48 clean and hard. :55 was a flush hard shot and the best of the round like i said. at first you said castillo didn't land anything now you are confessing he landed the best shot of the round.

you score grazing jabs over clean power shots, which shows you should either stick to amateur boxing or just stop scoring altogether. castillo landed the harder punches and the most significant punches of the round. if mayweather had commited to his jab i would have given him the round, but he chose to poke castillo's nose instead.

Anyone who says this fight was a robbery clearly has not seen it. It could have gone either way.

Because it wasn't. It was a close fight, with a lot of close competitive rounds.
