you didn't miss much. Thought he looked poor, though won the fight quite easily

his opponent had a shocking mullet too.

I said before Gavin is talented but he lacks star quality, there was just no excitement at all tonight.

Gavin won clearly but it was ridiculously boring and I do think Gavin done himself any favours tonight.

Did Frankie look better or worse than he did in the Skeete fight?

He looked ordinary vs a complete jobber, Says it all, oh and he was boring, even more than usual.

Please if you are reading Frankie, please retire or get more exciting, maybe get knocked out vs a Maidana/Rios/Thurman or bundu in a rematch. Cheers.

His opponent landed 12 punches in 10 rounds, that has to be a record, he really should be stopping lads like that easy.

He has very little power and overrated ability/defense as proven by how easily Bundu found the target.

    A fair assessment.

Frankie is a great lad (he often used to post on here), I have been a fan of his ever since his amateur days and I would love for him to be a roaring success. But at present, It appears that he may have one if those "What might have been, if he had took the sport seriously" careers.

Frankie was a truly outstanding amateur, but he failed to make weight for the Olympics (and he was a strong favourite to win the gold medal ffs)..that raised a huge red flag!!

I want to see Gavin fight someone like Bradley or Rios (or, someone outlandish, like Thurman or Maidana). I know he doesn't deserve any of those fights, but damn it, I just want Frankie to fight someone that lights a fire under his **** and get him fighting in top gear, just once!!! Or make the drop to LWW.

I could be waaaay off, but I just have a funny feeling that Frankie Gavin may shock everyone with the kind of performance that most felt he was capable of years ago...but time is rapidly running out on what was once a hugely promising career.

British-European level is far from mediocre, mate!!! And he is a long way from terrible!!

But I do appreciate that he only just does enough, no matter how outclassed his opponent is. And with his southpaw, counter-puncher style (and the fact that he is not by any means a ko puncher) it is not a crowd pleasing style and it does make him appear boring.

My guess (and it is only that) is that Frankie has a great performance in him, but convincing him that the opponent he is fighting is worth the effort may be the problem.

Hard work beats talent, if talent doesn't work hard! And that applies far more in the pros than it does amateurs!!

Come on Frankie lad, if you've got it in you, just one great performance, please?

Ha at the last two comments. Nuthugger who is delusional. Gavin is not World level and would lose wide to bradley, knocked out by the punchers like Maidana and Thurman.

Gavin is below Euro level. He could not even win the Euro belt.
