Why do people dislike Quigg - is it because of Hearn?

Martinez, Molitor and Avalos are better as anyone on Quigg's record. And that includes the version of Munroe that Quigg fought. Otake is by far the best fighter on his recordlist.

 

Nothing to do with Hearn, he hasn't even hyped him really so he cant be disliked for that. Opposition has been weak, has a title which doesn't carry much credibility, but criticism is very unfair against a guy who is a proper old school fighter, in the ring 24/7 and dedicates himself to the sport, and you have a guy who has a resume very similar to his in Frampton but he is considered to be so much better which is very unfair. Both world class and cant wait to see them fight, proper 50/50 fight

There are many reason's why people have it somewhat in for Quigg

1 His promoter- Eddie's greed insisting Quigg vs Frampton has to be PPV and his arrogance toward Team Frampton puts anyone off Quigg.

2 Paper Belt- WBA regular farce which he never even won and yet calls himself a world champion

3 Frampton Popularity- Frampton is one of the most liked popular fighters in the UK a major rival of his unless he's got charisma himself is always going to be somewhat disliked.

4 **** Poor opponents- Calls himself a world champion but only ever faced at a stretch one top 10 fighter in Munroe if he fought something decent people wouldn't rip on him so much.

5 50/50 Split, Insisting that him vs Frampton should be split 50/50 when he's done nothing to deserve it, has a fake belt, can't sell tickets and the only card he brings is PPV which most people don't feel this should even be PPV. If he really wants the fight he has to accept he's B side which he and Hearn won't accept.

 

If Frampton is so popular why did Sky drop him? He had to buy air time on ITV and had only a million viewers watching him. Pretty sure Kid Galahad has done better numbers.
