It's hard to rank them. The fab 4 fought each other. Mayweather fought Canelo and Corrales.

So we must go with the guys who fought the better competition by miles.

He also beat the **** out of Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya, Cotto, and Mosely.

You know the same guys you praise Pacqiauo for beating?

In fact, I don't see any outstanding name on Pacqiauos resume to be honest compared to anyone Floyd has fought.

I've only ever praised the Cotto win. So I don't know where you're going with that.

The fact his father went 10 with SRL, should give more credit to Mayweather Jr being even more competitive with Leonard than his father was. Floyd Senior wasn't half the boxer Junior is professionally. That's not a good argument to make, and if anything, supports Floyd being competitive with SRL.

And you're talking about somebody who started at 130, being competitive with somebody who started at 147. Says a lot about how great Floyd is to be honest.

Who knows if Floyd could be competitive with SRL.

Guess who took SRL to the end/bring of a loss????? Hearns did....

I'm aware, I've seen the fight multiple times.

Using Floyd's father as an example isn't a good one. That is the point I'm making. His father wasn't anywhere near the level Junior is at as a professional boxer. If his father could go 10 with SRL, it's safe to say Junior would do even better. It's really not even up to debate.

well it's a style match-up what i'm getting at here. I don't think Hit man was the best of the bunch but stylistically, possibly the worst match-up for Floyd. I see Floyd doing much better against duran, haggler and even Sugar Ray. Against, Tommy, it's a bad match-up.

Again, Castillo and DLH gave Floyd all sorts of problems in part by being larger, having more reach. Of course, this wasn't all of it. Castillo applied constant pressure and DLH used his jab to great effect, both things Tommy could do very well. Tommy was 6'1 and had 80' reach! this is an 8in reach advantage on Floyd. He would be jabbing and keeping Floyd at a distance and throwing a lot. He had great boxing skill evidenced by how he was outboxing Ray Laeornard, forcing Sugar Ray to get a TKO late in the fight. He showed he had power by KO'ing the **** out of iron chinned Duran. He had weaknesses, primarily that he was physically weak and susceptible to aggression. The problem for floyd is that he's defensive and i simply can't see Floyd beating Hearns by outboxing him... Hearns' reach, power and boxing skills would be an absolute nightmare. Floyd would've ducked him... too big, too good.

And Floyd hasn't been in the ring with anyone near SRL's ability.

I would disagree, and argue SRL is one of the most over-rated fighters in boxing history with only 36 wins on his resume. (Given many put him as a top 5 ATG, I would disagree) Longevity counts for something.

You are dreaming Hearns was faster quicker stronger.....way better boxing skills....and when did Mayweather go 14 rounds with SRL weight drained as 21 yr old kid still growing or go thru a grueling war with Hagler....or get caught with a shot from Barkley that would have knocked out a heavyweight, Floyd wilted from 1 shot from Mosely....he didnt hit harder than Leonard, Hagler or Barkley.....its very doubtful Floyd's chin was better than Hearns...Tommy would beat lil Floyd up at any weight before prime, peak prime or past prime.....pick another fighter to say Floyd is better then, cause this 1 isnt it....

Duran was past his best and looking for a challenge. And Ray lost the first fight.
    Benitez is a good win.
Hagler and Hearns are great wins. (Hagler is a controversial win to many)

Again: he has 36 victories, that's it. Longevity hurts the man. He was only 35 when Terry Norris kicked his ass. Think about it.

Ray's resume is top shelf.....Floyds isnt near it and its impossible for him to get close it....furthermore out of Ray's great wins of the fab 5......i dont think Floyd can beat any of them or Pryor and Arguello at 140.....

You think Hearns was faster and a better boxer? Look at Money when he fought at 130.
