    Anyone have any info regarding this potential fight? I did think it was a bit early for Perez under his new trainer when it was mentioned a few weeks back but I've heard nothing about either fighter since.....Was rumoured that Perez was to fight on HBO next,anything info from the states??

    I've read it's scheduled for May 22. It's a WBC eliminator. It's a great fight and winner vs Wilder will be a great fight as well.

    Really?? Big step up for Perez if true....R.Garcia must be confident enough with what he can see in Mike as Pov has looked in destructive form his last few fights.Your right though it's a great fight for heavyweight fans and the potential Wilder fight will be huge.

    This is happening on May 22 I believe. It was ordered by the WBC as a title eliminator. Basically whoever wins gets to have Wilder's belt a few months later.
