Mayweather and Pacquiao aside, who do you rate as the best welterweight head to head?

Hard to call in a tournament I'd bet on Thurman & Maidana coming out with the most wins followed by Brook.

Thurman-Maidana is 50/50 Thurman decision or Maidana KO

Maidana? Do you not recall Devon Alexander shutting him out at Welter? Who has been easily beaten by Porter and Khan?

Still Bradley for me. He's probably in decline atm but hes still probably the best welter to best Floyd, even better than Manny to do that.

May beats Pac UD. Khan beats May UD. Pac beats Khan KO/TKO.

I think it would be a shame if May/Pac don't fight one of the young guys (Khan, Brook, Thurman) before retiring.

I might still favor Alexander due to style's. You gotta hold Maidana to neutralize him or else your in for it, for that reason I think at WW right now Brook has the best chance due to style to beat Maidana. Other then Brook and Thurman out of who is listed I'd favor Maidana to beat each one most of em being war's.

That being the case, would you not say Khan's stylistic changes recently where he tries and spoils things Alexander style more often, actually suit him now more than 2010 or 2011 whenever they last fought? :think

Outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao though....they aren't part of this discussion.

  14. Outside of Bradley and Floyd, I don't see anyone beating Roidquez.

The 1st Maidana-Khan fight was really a draw Khan won off a pt deduction and one knock down. Since then Maidana has improved while Khan has really regressed, Maidana now beat's if not stop's Khan I mean it's a reason Khan ducked a rematch last year
