Mayweather paid Maidana to wear different gloves. But yet....

    He isn't scared of Pacquiao? :lol:

    Someone who pays a middle of the pack fighter 1.5 million to wear different gloves is scared. You can be damn sure he is scared of Pac.


    Yes the first set of gloves weren't approved by floyd or the commission. Second set were everlast MXs that were approved by the commission. Floyd said no. Then Maidana wanted to wear cleto reyes gloves which were approved by the commission. Floyd said no. Then he paid Maidana 1.5 MILLION to wear everlast power gloves.:rofl


    I am really surprised he is letting Pac wear his Reyes gloves but he knows if he didn't people would say he was scared.

    Smh are you re****ed? Prior to both fighters sign, they agree with the 8 ounce gloves which pac can wear reyes gloves and mayweather can wear grant gloves. So in that sense, idk whats the point in this thread. I think ive said this many times in this forum, there's too many re****ed pacquiao fans here.

    The point is if Mayweather was so afraid of Maidana in Everlast MX gloves and Reyes gloves to the point of giving the guy 1.5 million dollars he is scared.

    If he was that scared of Maidana and his glove choice he is ****ting himself over fighting pac.


    Your boy floyd is such a badass he pays fighters not to wear their gloves of choice.:rofl

    he can't be that scared if he's letting Pacquiao wear Cleto Reyes. Not even Morales had enough ***** to fight Pacquiao with Cleto Reyes in the original fight

    Denied what? It's a known fact he didn't get to wear his choice of gloves.:patsch And of course he is going to deny the 1.5 million I am sure void had him sign a confidentiality agreement.

    He had no choice. He would already be getting slammed and called a coward if he didn't let pac wear his beloved reyes gloves.

    Am I understanding this right?

    Mayweather was scared of Maidana - so he made him change gloves.
    Mayweather is more scared of Pac - so hes letting him wear any gloves?

    Idiot, don't you realize that the reason floyd made Maidana wear those gloves was because of how dirty Maidana is, all those rabbit punches and low blows add up. Pac isn't dirty, so he doesn't have to deal with some cheap **** bs.

    ok can you report the whole story then and maybe leave out your little unproven theory of confidentiality agreements?

    maidanas gloves were deemed illegal by the commission but the backup pair of the same glove was deemed fine (so clearly someone had tampered with the glove). floyd kicked up a stink and punished maidana by taking away his choice of glove.

    floyd proved this clearly has more to do with someone in Maidanas team attempting to cheat floyd because he just signed to fight pac and he is letting pac use whatever gloves he wants
