All this hype on ESB is bull****. As if May was Mike Tyson and Pac a huge KO machine. Let's come back to reality and look at the facts: - Pac's chances of stopping May are small. May is a defensive genius and has a solid chin.Add to that his safety first approach. - Floyd's chances of stopping Pac are non-existing. Floyd has no power, when was his last KO:roll:?? He does not look for the KO, has a safety first approach. Conclusion: The fight will likely go the distance. This will be a tactical fight. Floyd ain't dumb, he won't try to outfight pac.
This. Mayweather Fanboys: "Pacquiao's chin has been cracked by Marquez, Mayeather will KO Pacquiao because he is a Knockout Artist that knocked out Ortiz"
Of course it's going the distance, the chances are extremely low for this one to end by stoppage for either fighter.
Of course it will go the distance. Both haven't had a legit KO in ages, and they're the best both faced in ages too. Pac being KO'd by the perfect punch in perfect circumstances doesn't mean that Floyd will too because he's better as JMM. And Pac beating the living sh*t out of Cotto and Mosley while the first gave Floyd a hard fight and the latter wobbled him doesn't mean Pac is going to stop Floydypants. This will go the full 12 and it will be a close fight. I would really be surprised to see a KO/stoppage either way.
They won't fold, aren't used to losing, and this will be the biggest boxing event of all time, not just in their experiences. Because of all that I really wouldn't be shocked to see a stoppage. 'Win at any cost' mentality should be at full strength for whoever is losing the exchanges/rounds.
If that is the case, I just have a feeling judges will go for Pac this time. It is just the history of the sport.
I expect Pac to win a majority decision, close fight with Mayweather looking good early but Pac starting to get the edge in the later parts of the rounds and as the fight goes on Pac starts clearly winning the last rounds.
It's really next to impossible to make solid predictions for this fight on any level. Sure, the easy thing is to say Floyd dances to a ud as he's been doing that most of his career, but he's also not fighting a b rated opponent so who knows. There are so many variables in this fight, both guys past their best, one may enter the ring completely shot, we just don't know until the fight starts and I believe both guys have a chance to ko the other. There may just be spontaneous combustion as Larry merchant used to say, in a big fight like this. It could very well be a major stinker too, it may go twelve rounds and may only go 30 seconds. I would not put money on anything happening in this fight, but this is a very interesting fight.
