    :huh Disgraceful?

    Should be facing Canelo?

You'd rather Cotto defend the lineal middleweight championship against Canelo, who never has fought at the weight, than somebody who actually has paid some dues (whether or not quite enough to earn a lineal world title shot)?

Hopefully Heiland can concentrate on Cotto and not worry about his prison sentence vs Triple G if he wins.

This Heiland guy is really strong like Golovkin kind of strong, He is less skillend and punches less harder thats for sure, but He is one of the biggest middleweight right there with Murray and Kid Chocolate. This guy will cause Cotto a lot of trouble if Cotto easy beat this guy He in my opinion will be the favorite to beat Canelo.

Cotto's loss vs Trout still troubles me. Trout is not that good. I think Cotto is done.

Disagree. Don't really know how good his chin is, but he ate Macklin's best shots without blinking. Not convinced Cotto has much pop at 160.
And work rate? Are you kidding? Heiland didn't stop for a second against Macklin. He was throwing a huge amount of leather, which is something Cotto never likes.

I think you may need to reread what you quoted, or else rewatch some Margarito fights.

I don't even like Margarito but one thing you can't take away from him is his ungodly chin; another is his ungodly work rate.

Saying that Heiland isn't his equal in either category isn't an insult to Heiland. :blood

That still leaves plenty of room for Heiland to have a very good chin and very high work rate.

Fair enough. I read it as Heiland is lacking in the chin and workrate department, but if that's not what you meant then I apologise.

this fight isn't official though is it?

Makes NO sense that Cotto would not fight Canelo (winnable), Bradley (winnable) or Golovkin (Cottos destruction), and instead likely lose to a complete (relative) nobody in a practical non event.

The one thing Cotto has got in his locker (which he will need to bring out in this fight) is his left hook to the body. He will need to invest there to stop the 'bigger' Heiland in his tracks.

I would be surprised if this fight comes off but if Cotto wins, it will give his Middleweight credentials a boost.

    Cotto > Martinez > Chavez ≤Zbik > Heiland

btw ... did you know that "Heiland" is german for "the savior"?
That's why we in germany think it's kinda funny if someone fights the Heiland.

Hmmm.....hopefully you been watching boxing long enough to realise styles make fights

Although Zbik beat Heiland (5 years ago!) I would still give Heiland a better chance against Cotto then Zbik :bbb

Looked to me like he basically walked through Macklin. Macklin is no Tommy Hearns, but hes far from featherfisted. If Cotto hook doesn't swing the fight in his favor early, I think he is in for a long long night.
