I like GGG but what I don't get is Kovalev is destroying guys that have never been destroyed before yet he doesn't get a quarter of the hype GGG does

This, stopping Pascal in the fashion he did for me is significantly more impressive than taking 11 to stop Martin Murray.

There's a lot of hype and much of it is over the top, However....GGG is the best of what we have today and is plowing through everyone.....the way guys like Hagler and Monzon would have if presented with the kind of opposition Golovkin has been feasting on.

168 will tell. He has a bad habit of trusting his chin too much. He better learn to keep his guard high or someone someday will fck him up when he goes up in weight.

Whats he supposed to do when nearly all his opponents end up cowering on the ropes throwing so little?

:deal Kovalev has answered every single question asked of him in the ring, he can articulate english better than "good boy" and is an outright killer. Golovkin has not accomplished what Kovalev has, I won't say overrated, he's the legit number one MW but he gets a bit more press than I believe he should. JMO

It's funny as hell because every fight is supposed to be his big test.

First it was Macklin. This was Golovkin's first world-level competition. Golovkin beats the life out of Macklin.
GGG haters: Macklin was a bum.

Then it was Stevens who would test Golovkin's chin. Golovkin makes Stevens into an internet meme.
GGG haters: Stevens was never world-class.

Geale comes into center stage. Golovkin decapitates him.
GGG haters: Geale was always overrated.

Rubio was supposed to have a toe-to-toe affair with Golovkin; he was a real test. Golovkin easily demolishes him.
GGG haters: Rubio was too crude and quit.

Macklin, the conqueror of Martinez, is supposed to be Golovkin's first real world-class opponent. Golovkin beats him a non-competitive fight.
GGG haters: Golovkin took a lot of punishment and Macklin is trash anyways.
