Their shows are always so expensive and they're normally full of 90/10 fights at best. Their cheapest tickets are usually £40 + booking fees etc. But an acceptable seat to Actually see the fight from start at £60 + an Extortionate booking fee of £12-15 another thing to rip you off compared to other promoters they are the worst for value. For Froch vs Groves you were looking at £150 to even see the ring. Average acceptable seat prices: Matchroom - £72 after booing fees Wazza - £40 abf Small Hall - £35 no booking fees German - £21 abf American - often advertise low ticket prices as its the tv money they care about K2 - £40 abf Enfusion K1 - £35 nbf Glory K1 - £40 nbf Thai Lumpeenie Stadium boxing - £4 nbf
I'd personally rather pay £40 to watch a Matchroom show than a Wazza show. Same applies to small halls & Germans
Remember when Barker fought at the o2 and the show did about 3,000? Well that was only £20 a ticket, most of Hearn's earlier shows were £20/£30. I don't mind a slight increase in price if the product improves but at least sell them via any other ticket outlet than Eventim. Don't be a little greedy **** just because they offer slightly higher %s to you, because Eventim are horrible and completely rip off the fans.
Depends on the card really. The fact that entry level prices for Newcastle this weekend, with the dross they're putting on there, are the same as the 02 is laughable. I'm usually quite critical of the MR cards, but the O2 card is actually not bad.
I'd rather pay the extra £30 to ensure I don't have to **** in the corner of a building and that I will be safe from gypsies trying to steal my seats.
My problem with matchroom shows are as follows: A) too many girls attend the fights B)the programmes have too many adverts in, FW has far less adverts C)hot dogs on matchroom shows are substantially smaller than small hall shows D) Anthony Joshua makes too many documentaries
Ive found that their cheapest are £30 but their good seats are £40. Not quite sure where you have got the £72 from
