I think in the Vitali-Lewis fight, Vitali made his bones and gained his confidence much like Mike Weaver a 18-9 trial horse gained his confidence against Holmes. I think the Vitali of the Kirk Johnson fight was a better version and would have better opponent for any version of Lewis. Sonny was 6 ft long wing span and power but slow and IMO not so mentally confident or resilient. I like Vital by a stop sometime about the 6-8th rd, Sonny may get stopped in a corner or retire in his corner. Sonny would be swinging early though but Vitali had a steel chinsky
Because I'm short and my waistline is rapidly catching up with my height, plus at 66 I'm enjoying life so much I want to stick around as long as I can.Go back to your Scotch. ps Nicola Sturgeon came out of the debate with credit.:good Dangerous lady!
I'm 40 years old and gave up the drink completely 3 years ago. If you can still enjoy a sip without spilling the whole bottle then all the more power to you. But I reached a point where I liked it just a tad too much, and my posts on here 6-7 years ago will reflect that.
When determining "toughness" you can't go back to the days of the Vikings ffs. You can only go by what the fighters did in the ring. FWIW, I would pick Vitali to win, but not because his heritage, but because I think he had the tools, including size, reach and skill, to beat Sonny.
Exactly how I see it playing out. Terrific high tension bout early. Then, it'd fall into a pattern. And Sonny not having the corner or the pre-fight preperations to help dig him out against this guy. I think Sdunek has his guy at 100% and very well prepared in top shape ready and willing for a big fight. It's the other corner I don't like. And that factor gets bigger and bigger as the fight goes on. And as Sonny falls behind, he'll find a way out, just like you said. Tough matchup for sonny and one of the hardest guys to put him in. I think he wins more than he loses for sure against the other top heavies. But this isn't Valuev he'd be in with.
You guys are selling Sonny short. Big time. Motivated, Prime Liston didnt look for a way out. He fought with a broken jaw. Prime Liston would go through Klit. like a hot knife through butter. He was a virtually unstoppable machine in his prime, and was a washed up old unmotivated man when he faced Ali. Why cant some of you see that? I dont see you guys suggesting that iron mike was in top form when he fought Lewis.
A View From The Bridge is a play by Arthur Miller a very dark play. I said I was out for a musical day, not a musical ,I've nothing against" Friends Of Dorothy", two of them are among my friends.I am however definitely straight, and old.:|
Another close minded re**** who can't read ! Liston's ko% is 72,22 Otherwise who cares this unimportant ko percentage ?
No need to attack this garbage, you mug yourself every time you put your fingers to the keys. You picked an appropriate user name. a comic character.
Liston walks Vitali down and stops him in 6 imo. Vitali has a chance if he backtracks all night and is able to beat Liston to the punch but I envision Liston walking him down as more probable.
