    Micheal Grant and Rahman weren't in their prime when thay beat Purrity. Why couldn't Wlad beat him , but Grant and Rahman could?

    In case you hadn't noticed Wlad started fighting much differently when Manny became his trainer. It took Wlad several fights to get his style down pat which is why he hasn't lost or been knocked down since the first Peter fight.

    so he was in YOUR OPINION a very slow learner, probably the slowest learner in HW history, taking till his mid30s to become smart enough that he wouldn't get wiped out instantly by retired nevermen.

    The first Brewster fight came after the first Peter fight. Wlad was knocked down and KO'ed in that fight...

    Yeah , he moved shop to Germany where he won by avoiding a fight at all costs. :patsch

    Take his excessive mauling and hugging away and he'd be exactly the same as the guy who couldn't go past 5 against Brewster

    At the end of the day it really doesn't matter if I got the chronology wrong seeing as Wlad looked like **** in either fight. If Sam Peter would have known what a straight punch looked like, he would have KO'ed ole Wladdy too...

    What argument? You said wlad was a re**** for not fighting like Manny (and not his previous trainers) wanted to unitl he hired Manny. What kind of argument is that? Hey, if he started with Manny he might be undefeated today. :yep

    Wlad's prime or any boxer's prime is when they are at the top of their game. It doesn't have to be a certain age range.
