Lets chill out a bit. I respect Campillo as much as anyone should. Was a big fan in his Murat/Shumenov/Cloud days. But he is not the same fighter. Fonfara stopped him almost 2 years ago (obviously not in the same fashion Beter just disposed him, but still, I didn't see people anointing greatness to Fonfara for doing it then... why Beter gets so much credit now? Inconsistency...).

People don't hate Stevenson just because he's with Haymon, you can still be a fan of a fighter but hate their promoter... Especially when it's someone like Beterbiev who's foreign, and not fully aware of the fight game. Look at how many fighters Don King ruined, how many fight fans hated ALL Don King fighters purely based on their association with him? When it comes down it TRUE fans are fans of fighters and not their promoters. Obviously there exceptions like the OP of this thread, who seems to bandwagon promoters almost as much as he does fighters.
Because he did it in a far more impressive fashion whilst having fewer fights? Those things matter. And it's not like people just jumped on his bandwagon now all of a sudden, he's been talked about since his debut.....

Chilemba is ALL wrong for Beterbiev. As is Vlasov. Better stick to fighting guys with CHIN deficiencies cuz both Vlasov, and especially Chilemba would take rds from him and take him deep. Not saying he couldnt pull out the Ws, but he's not a volume puncher like a Bellew or a Sanchez Ramirez, and it takes that type of fighter, or a super slick power power puncher, or relentless puncher to beat Chilemba or Vlasov.:think
Beterbiev looked excellent but keep this in perspective. 1. Campillo is shot 2. Campillo has no power to speak of 3. Campillo is an oddity of a boxer that he has no power but walks down other fighters (disastrous against a monster puncher) I think Beterbiev is probably somewhat ready for Stevenson and would give him all he wants, but he has some deficiencies even Stevenson could exploit.
