I don't know why the hell I'm explaining this again but ok. I've got some time and nothing to do, so lets have some fun.

Just because you use some sort of story that had the word 'fear' in it, doesn't mean it automatically relates. You would make a shocking lawyer if that's how you looked at precedents. That example has absolutely no relevance to a professional athlete who's doing what he's been doing his whole life, he's prepared for big fights before. I'm sure the possibility of losing has entered his mind, it's inevitable. I'm also pretty sure it's not going to make the man go insane.

Unless Floyd has so much fear of losing that it's just crippling and forces him to go insane. Honestly, look at the boxers from a boxing point of view and not like your watching a drama series on television.

I remember watching Rafael Nadal lose a Wimbledon final a few years back. I was in Spain at that time, no less than 24 hours after watching that by chance he was in the same bar as me, with a big smile on his face having a laugh all night. As I said, life goes on and professionals know this. You and all the other boxing fans who get caught up in the stories and start ****ysing a guys every word and move need to relax a little and realise they are humans just like you and I.

Just enjoy the sport of boxing, be patient and don't get too excited for May 2nd will come and go and then you can find another boxer to obsess over.

Thanks Barrera! I'm glad somebody understands. I had a similar experience in my first fight. Having a plan and exploring opportunities is healthy. Floyd is a master at adjusting in the ring? Why? Because he's explored the possibility that things won't go his way and has plans for that. It's a shame not all people can discuss things logically!

If you're one of the top fighters in the last 20 years and Diego Corrales is your toughest opponent, you're doing it wrong.

Look at who Manny has faced. Prime Marquez, Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Bradley, Ledwaba, Sasukul, etc.

Tennis is not the same as boxing. Nadal has to face to the best. It's a mandatory bracket where he will eventually face the top guys.

Floyd is in boxing where media and fans ****tt all over you if you lose. Floyd also doesn't have to and has not fought the best fighters out there. And he also has to deal with getting physically hurt which Tennis players don't have to worry about.

No it's not the same but what I'm saying is that life goes on beyond the ring or whatever stage the athlete is on. A lot of people unfortunately forget that professional athletes are just like anybody else, they have other things in their life as well.

You are taking the word fear and using in a manner to slight Mayweather or to infer that he's weak. That's your personal dislike for Mayweather in full effect. Mayweather don't fear any fighter but what he is demonstrating for Pac is his respect for his skills and putting in the proper work. You wanna know something, Pac is doing the same thing. Mayweather is very confident and you will bear witness to his confidence and greatness on May 2nd. When you witness the out classing of Pac just raise that fifth of alcohol to your lips and finish it. Then take your drawers and wrap them over your head and go to sleep cause this forum will not be a friendly place for you for a while.:D

What's funny about your list, is those are "great wins for Manny Pacquiao." Those are just "your average win" for Floyd Mayweather. None of the "big 3" for Manny Pacquiao pose any threat for Floyd at 130, and wouldn't have won **** if he continued to fight there. Everybody would have been a clear underdog. The film on Mayweather at 130 speaks for itself and if you want to argue Marquez, Barrera, Morales, or Pacquiao would have beaten Floyd at 130... I can only laugh.

Secondly, I would argue at 130 pounds: Diego causes Marquez, Barrera, Pacquiao and Morales problems. No guarantee for any of them, but I guarantee Diego doesn't lose to all of them and certainly has a chance to beat all of them.

Ledwaba and Sasukul are easily eclipsed by other wins on Floyd's resume, just be real.

Mayweather has also beat Cotto. Saying he "wasn't prime" when he went up and took the 160 pound lineal title afterward is a ridiculous argument. Was Cotto prime after he got beat half to death with bricks before fighting Pacquiao?

Fact is people attach "prime" to assert some agenda and increase the legitimacy of a particular win.

Cotto is Pacquiao's best win above 130 pounds, it's that simple. You don't need to go on with all that prime BS. The win stands on its own merit.
