he's done pretty well considering his total lack of amateur experience and poor work ethic, dude is a waste of potential, could have been way better with more discipline and better management. Still entertaining to watch

Say what you want. Every generation has fighters that could/should be more dedicated. I don't think you can deny that before the Martinez fight Chavez Jr at the very least posed a tough challenge to any man in the middleweight division. Well you can deny it, I just wouldn't agree with you.

Yup. Got by on his papa's name mostly. Pretty sure that name influenced some of the gift decisions he got, too. Payaso.

He is a coddled baby. Thinks he is entitled to everything. He is a human punching bag and hopefully wether to see GGG make his face look like he went through a car windshield.

    This.

But still, even without being 100% focused, he's never lost to a B level fighter, and has wins over several solid B+ types like Rubio, Zbik, Lee, and Molina.:good

Why because their black? They have drive, commitment, hunger, professionalism, respectful, skilled, etc....

Hmmmm Chavez Jr,, weight cheat, peds, drugs, laziness, etc.

But I like to see him fight....

Dude KO'd Andy Lee. That's pretty damn impressive.

Although I suspect Fonfara will mark his downfall.

He's got some skills but I think the pressure of living up to his legendary father's name is too much for him and it's always going to be there unfortunately. He needs to become his own boxer and do what works for him. He gives some pretty exciting fights though.

Used to hate him, but not anymore. He's definitely entertaining and overall pleasing to watch. Looking forward to his next fight.

GTFO here with that racism bull****. I bet you have Jesse "The Hypocritical Preacher" Jackson and Al "The Tax Evader" Sharpton on speed dial.

I think he's got a lot of potential but he just doesn't have it in him. He's lazy.
If he actually trained for the Martinez fight, he could of easily won...

Lame..... really not funny. Sad actually. I don't like Jesse either so try something else Rush Limbaugh...

You don't have to admit it... But it's the simple truth. And let me educate you on something since you're obviously ignorant. Racism and being prejudice are different... look them up dummy and come back with another weak attempt of insulting me.

It's not racism... It's more about prejudices or bias thinking. Go look dummy... I'll be here. :rofl. Tsk tsk tsk you're stupid.

Jose Luis Lopez was another stoner/slacker, but he wasn't as lazy as Chavez Jr was. Alot more exciting too. Chavez Jr rubs alot of Mexican fans the wrong way too, but whether you like him or not, that last round he had against a prime Maravilla was gold. He needs to throw more killer hooks like that to even have a chance against good fighters.
