I dislike Leonard immensely but he's the best welter I've seen in my lifetime. I like Pipino an awful lot but he was limited. Leonard stays away for the better part of 9 and stops Pipino in 10.

Kind of silly if you dislike him so much but you still rate him that highly. Isnt that a little hypocritical? Leonard proved his skills against diverse ATG talents, so i think anyone that doesnt like him must respect him anyway.

No, it's actually quite intelligent. *****'s / Pac****s should feel the same way.

Its maybe a little different with those two - since there's some legitimate reasons to not like either of those guys. SRL was alwayd very easy to like for me.

How is that hypocritical? :huh If one is an actual adult, able to separate emotion from quantifiable rating criteria, then it isn't terribly difficult to do.

I just find it hard to believe that someone doesnt like leonard and then goes on to say hes the best welter of his lifetime. If you rate a fighter that highly then i figure you have to like him a little bit

Surely that's the way it should be,not letting any emotion get in the way of judgement?

I just don't understand that way of thinking, but okay.......

For example, I despise Julio Cesar Chavez. Hate him. But if I'm being objective and really look at just what he brought into the ring, I have to admit he's Mexico's greatest fighter. Pains me to say it, but without the ability to separate emotion from ****ytical ability, we turn into nothing but fanboys. And that stuff belongs in the General Forum.

Leonard by late rounds stoppage. Prime Cuevas had a good chin so it wouldn't be fast. Leonard would have to work for it. He's just to fast and smart for Cuevas.

He still frequents a few forums. I like some of his stuff, as long as you take it with a pinch salt. What the boxrec forum did to him was bang out of order, some of his stuff is legit.
