Beterbiev could KO Ward, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Let's see Beterbiev vs a volume puncher with a chin and some skills before we go gauging him against Andre Ward.

Hell, at this point, I wouldnt bet big on Beterbiev beating Vlasov, much less KOing him.

Beterbiev, bwo, GAYMAN, ducked Isaac Chilemba. Isaac F/N Chilemba.

No way he'd let Beterbiev fight Andre Ward until Ward held a LHW title and Beterbiev proved he can make the weight and go 12 tough rds. :nono:nono:nono

Ward would have to adopt a different gameplan than usually, Betrebiev is freakishly strong and even his short punches cause damage, it'd not be a good idea to go on the inside against him, he'd have to use lots of footwork and constantly shift Beterbiev to the left.

Ward would win by decision, Beterbiev the robot would look lost for 12rounds!!!!!!!

He probably can. Just look at Ward vs Miranda, how much trouble a big puncher with constant pressure gave him. Now Ward has become better since, but Beterbiev is classes above Miranda, hits harder and is a big, strong LHW rather as a blown up MW.
And what Ward do we get back? He hasn't beaten a top fighter in 2½ years, and that guy was drained to the max... so basically Froch was his last big fight, you remember back in the Super 6 days?!

8 pro fights and already being talked about with Ward, not bad.

At this point I would go with Ward. Beterbiev weakness is he can be hit with the jab, and has little head movement. But he's only had 8 fights, and gone just 18 total rounds.

A year from now, it would be a different story.

Beterbiev would be losing rounds until the moment when he puts Ward to sleep. Ward is not strong enough to keep Artur off him for 12 rounds.

A huge part of Andre's game is his great inside game. That would be suicidal against the Steamroller

He lacks the power to keep AB off him, and lacks the stamina to constantly be on the move

He would get badly hurt early and stopped earlier than people think

Beterbiev is a big ass LHW, obviously any puncher has a chance of getting to knock out, but if I had to make a bet it would be a Ward clear UD.

There's noone who could be rationally matched to Ward and could definitely beat him, including Kovalev and GGG. Dude has talent, but unexciting. That's why people call him the Floyd of SMW.

One thing for sure - Ward wont be able to use his clinching tactics.
