Would you say more fighters stayed retired the first time around or comeback after announcing a so called retirement?

And Wlad never sought a rematch. Show me the link to official offers made or shut your pue hole.

And its always important to avenge a loss that was so high profile. To nad neither Wlad or Vittles so through to keep their word. Guess they knew they would be bested again rather than take those chances. 😄

Why would they keep their word?

We're talking about sociopathic tyrants who ruined the lives of countless Internet boxing fans for fun just so they could keep "winning".

Sifting through these parts is more and more like trying to find saveable victims in a war zone.

It's just going to get worse after Mr. Jennings gets knocked out. The only thing left to cling to is the memory of brighter days when they were considerate enough to lose once in awhile.

Its not an active fighters obligation to call a retired fighter's bluff. Active fighters are obligated to make the best possible fights with other active fighters not claiming to be retired.

I've been respectful towards you in this thread, why the continued and unprovoked abusive language? Does this subject make really make you that emotional? If we were face to face, would you attempt to strike me for saying the things I've said in this thread? You are coming off like a headcase.

I don't believe "sought a fight" equates to an official offer. At present, Kovalev has not made an official offer to Stevenson but nobody doubts he is seeking the fight. Official offers are complicated and often negotiated out. I've outlined that Wlad made his intentions clear in 2003 and 2007 but circumstances did not allow them to make it very far.

I've even posted Sander's own statement in 2004, about wanting to face Wlad again only after defeating his brother..which he failed to do.

You don't credit Wlad for the Brewster rematch, I highly doubt you would give him much credit for dragging a 39 year old Sanders out of retirement. Quit pretending that would prove something to you.

Shame Dino.

In Jamaican culture, a batty boy (also spelled batty bwoy; other terms include batty man "'Eber Perez"' and chi chi bwoy/man) is a man considered to be gay, bi***ual, or effeminate. The term is considered pejorative, as *******uality is often condemned in contemporary Caribbean cultures, partially as a result of mainly conservative Christian and Rastafarian beliefs[citation needed]. Jamaican culture is seen as one of the most violent towards gay men in particular. In 2006 Time Magazine noted the the country was likely to be the worst place in the Americas for LGBT people and one of the most ****phobic places in the world.[1][2][3] *** between men is punishable with up to ten years in jail

Certain Jamaican music, which features hostility to *******uals, such as in a T.O.K. song "Chi Chi Man" which threatens to burn fire on gays and those in their company,[2] employs the term 'batty boy' to disparage LGBT people. One notorious song, "Boom Bye Bye" written by dancehall musician Buju Banton, advocates violence against batty boys, including shooting them in the head and setting them on fire: "Boom bye bye, in a batty bwoy head/Rude boy nah promote no nasty man, dem hafi dead

A fighter who fights 8 months later can hardly be called retired. Like I said, i can name dozens of so called fighters who claimed retirement, but really it was only a claim. And the only thing Wlad did was pay (very little) lip service to a rematch, just like big bro and the never was Byrd rematch. Im sure you forgive that to even though both were both highly rated the next several years. As ive pointed out there was never any serious thought put into getting Sanders back in the ring and you offer nothing to show otherwise.

If we met face to face im sure i would just laugh at you and offer to buy you a beer. You have no bearing on my life except the occasional entertainment on a message board. Seems you're a tad bit sensitive....yet you're calling me emotional? Lol!!

The big question here is why you and few others are so scared of Wlad? What exactly Wlad did to you ?
Every thread you are starting to cry and to twisting the facts and truth. This is not simply because you dont like Wlad.
I dont like Fury as well, but im not in every thread to cry about him ?
Im not in every thread to put a life ban bet and then show what p**** of ***** you are, right?
Wlad didnt care for his loses, something more he say it many times, this give him the motivation and always on alert for everybody.
Even if he take rematch, even he have 0 loses, you would find something other to catch and hate ....
Just look at the title and what you and your fellows comments.
We already knows from you and from your bros that Klitschko is scared from everybody. He was scared of Haye, Ibragimov, Povetkin, Pulev, now is Fury, later will be Wilder and so on ....

If he declared himself retired in that timeframe, than he was retired. The people of 2004 had no way of knowing he would change his mind in the future, Sanders perhaps did not even know. In that moment, he was retired.

This thread is full of articles with Wlad paying alot of lip service to a rematch, and even going beyond that by hiring Freddie Roach and training for it.

Me and others hvae shown that there was, you can either believe what you read or convince yourself it was all a ruse.

What did I do to force him to use a slur that promotes the hatred and murder of innocent people?

Did you even know Vitali was winning in all three scorecards by huge margin ? 8 of 9 rounds on one judge's scorecard, and 7 of 9 on the two others.
Vitali quit? Did you even know how hard shoulder injuries is ? And they can end your career ?
But guy like you who probably not in once enter a gym cant know that.

Continue to cry like baby, Klitschko will continue to make your life miserable.
This 2 guys are usless. They cry like baby twisting the truth and crying all over the place.
No matter what Wlad did, they wont give him credit for it.
Anyway Wlad not need credit from such cry babies.
He is on the road to break all records in boxing history, so they can only cry more and more and hate more and more.

Im convinced it was all a ruse. If Wlad really wanted it he could have gotten it. There is not a single doubt in my mind. There obviously wasnt one in Sanders mind either since he himself said Wlad never sought a rematch. He had no reason to lie at all, he won the first fight in a more than convincing fashion.

Lol, my life is anything but miserable. But if you had actually watched the fight you would know the fight was closer than the scores indicated. Not that i disagree with the scores, but the rounds were close. In the end Vits quit and never sought the rematch. Have i said a single thing here that was false?

Don't the Caribbean countries' cultures place heavy emphasis on masculinity, and manliness?

And I believe what was reported. That Sanders had a voluntary option before he was obligated to rematch Wlad and after failing to land fights with Roy Jones Jr, Byrd, and Lewis, accepted the WBC's offer to fight Vitali. I believe Wlad wanted an immediate rematch as he said, but was in no position to force one.

I believe Sanders would have gave Wlad his rematch if he defeated Vitali.

I believe Sanders wanted to retire after Vitali but sporadically tested himself against lesser opponents before injuries and a knock out made him give it up for good. I believe Wlad would have welcomed a rematch if Sanders was ever really back.

Sanders also said he would only rematch Wlad if he won the WBC title against Vitali in 2004.

He also said he was retired on two seperate occassions in 2004.

I don't blame Sanders for anything to be clear. He had deserved to cash out after beating Wlad and had the right to move on and pursue one big fight. He also had the right to retire and doubt his own decision on occassion.
