I think Derry will take it to the late rounds but fall just short. He has never really been blasted out so may be a points loss. Top fella hope he can pull it off.

Dirty Derry is certainly the underdog. But in all honestly I don't think Abril is inflammable and if Derry brings his A game and Abril has a bad day at the office then who knows. The odds are fairly close which did surprise me a bit tbh. Typically Derry is 5/2 with Abril 3/10.

...against Abril? Absolutely. Judges hate Richar's style (see: two of the judges vs. Rios, one vs. Acosta, one vs. Tatli, etc.) and this is @ the Echo, the challenger's own backyard, so every move Derry makes is going to elicit roars from the crowd, which could further sway the arbiters.
Derry can punch like a mule, i think if he connects he can stop him. IM not going to risk anything over £10, but a tenner on a KO should real rewards
Not in my opinion, I like Derry but I just cant see any way he wins. Hope he somehow manages to pull it off like but I genuinely cannot see a way he can win
That he can do but Abril is negative as they come and has a solid chin as 2nd line of defense. What he can do, however, is be the constant aggressor with the judges simply crediting his (probably not as clean and less accurate) work to spite Abril.

This says it really, Abril is not judge/fan friendly, he really is not, I would give Mathews every chance against Tatli and that was judged a close fight against Abril. We forget sometimes due to his numerous wars/blood/guts fights that Derry can box and box very well at times. Abril will have a decent reach advantage in this one and that is the key for me, they have to have worked on taking away his jab to a large degree, because Derry will mark up walking onto that all night, if they can half Abril's landed jabs and we have a fight on our hands. Think this is much closer than many think to be honest.
