I think maybe golovkin but each of them especially golovkin may be handicapped by champions ducking them

Why can't these guys be 27? It frustrates the hell out of me that fighters wait so long to step up these days.

Well if Kovalev beats Stevenson then he will have achieved something that only Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor have have achieved which is hold all the 4 major titles in a division along with the ring magazine title. If he does that it will then be interesting to see him fight Beterbiev because if he does fight and beat him after that he could litterally hang his gloves up right there as one of the greatest light heavyweights of all time if he wanted to.

GGG won't get a lot of credit unless he moves up or down, as MW doesn't provide enough depth to go through an ATG status. He needs to beat the likes of Ward, Chavez Jr, Canelo to get the credit he deserves. Cotto would be a career highlight as well if he had the guts to face Gennady.

As for Beterbiev, there's only so much he can do in the future. He might beat Kovalev perhaps but that's nearly as far as he can go. His style depends too much on his power/explosiveness/athleticism and he's 30 years old already, there won't be a Beterbiev 5 years later.

Kovalev is the guy with a best shot at being an ATG if he can eliminate the Beterbiev trouble and beat Adonis of course. There are great fighters he can beat in LHW such as Eleider Alvarez, Isaac Chilemba and also Egor Mekhontsev is a top prospect.
