This is a thread to begin the smack talk with out the excuses and crying. Real box talk. This is where we can bump the thread after the fight to let the loosers eat crow.

If you are coming on here to claim pac is done, has Parkinsons, bad calfs, distracted, he is worse then Sergio, a cherry pick. Then you are considered to be a whiner. If you are a Floyd fan claiming pac will be juiced, Floyd will get robbed, Floyd has a bad hand, Floyd's ribs, then you also are a whiner. Please refrain from posting. Duck_master and his 15 alts plus his minions (you know who you are), MVC and your alts please stay away as this is not a thread to troll.

Poll added, votes will be made public, let's all be prepared to eat crow if our fighter looses and also give props to the winner.

My prediction? Manny beats floyd on points. Manny's power will surprise Floyd and will make Floyd cautious. Floyd will have his moments and win 4-5 rounds but I think Manny will keep him cautious off his busy work. Fan of both, but I think Manny pulls it off. Hell, maybe even a knock down.

    60/40 in favor of pac.

Floyd is going to beat Pac's ass. There will be no excuses accepted. Pac can't fight inside, and he can't keep up his inand out tempo p for 12 rounds against the best conditioned fighter in the world without PED'S.

Its Manny, the guy never gets tired. Did you not see Margo vs pac?

Again, claims using "PED" are considered excuses.

I don't have a dog in this race, but based on what I've seen of each fighter over the last several years, my take is that Mayweather wins this fight rather easily.

Got Floyd by decision but he will experience the most challenging fight of his career. Floyd better be on his "A" game. Because he's gonna have to dig deep to earn the victory.

I'm a big fan of both fighters. I enjoy both styles. I have played this fight out many times and have many cases for both winning. But I can't over look that Manny is a busy elite fighter. He now is better then odlh was when Floyd fought him(my opinion) and de LA hoya gave Floyd a run for his money.

Styles make fights, but Mayweather's camp seems to be going more smoothly than Pacquiao's. Mayweather also has Ariza + Heredia was suspiciously involved earlier but now declines being a part of camp.

Floyd seems to be training harder and going above and beyond while Pacquiao is just doing the same old.

Based on this, I give the fight to Mayweather.

There's a caveat though... if the Mayweather of Maidana shows up and the Pacquiao of Algieri shows up, then Pacquiao wins. However, I expect the best of both fighters...so...Mayweather by decision.

First half of the post sounds like excuses. Let's keep this excuse free.

But Yea, I see your point about chris-pac and floyd-chino. I doubt Floyd has any intentions of staying in the pocket like he did for chino.

one problem I have is you claiming excuses. No. For me to point out Pacquiao's reported camp troubles, Mayweather hiring the two best S&C coaches, their ages, past fights, etc...that isn't me making excuses. I'm simply weighing every. Single. Variable. when it comes to me ****yzing the fight.

If I mention ANYTHING, whether its observed splippage, training regime...it's because I think it has a legitimate effect on the fight's potential outcome...it's not an excuse for anyone. Full credit goes to whoever wins, but I still want to know why.

Regardless, I remain, Mayweather by SD.

    Good threadstart.

As Floyd is 38, the whining about Pac being shot must come to an end. Reality is that Floyd takes on one of the best fighters available despite him closing in on his fourties.

I'm a fan of both boxers, but sadly enough I don't see this as being a competitive fight. Floyd will take Pac to school, and win a wide UD.

    Love that song.

    Floyd on points.

Accuracy and timing trumps speed and volume. Floyd's better at long range and in close and I think he can limit the amount of time that the fight's spent at mid-range through the use of movement and deft use of clinching.
