Even Rigondeaux or Santa Cruz would not make Frampton anything close to £1.5m and I would imagine £1.5m is not far off ten times what he is making per fight at the moment.

    A cut of the PPV.

If it doesn't do so well, then Hearn will not lose anything by giving him a cut. The cut can be for over a certain number of buys.

However, let's imagine it does sell well. If you're a world champion boxer, you don't want a situation where the opponent and 'B-side' is making more money than you!

Yeah, fact of the matter is £1.5M is a LOT for this weight and that fight...considering Scott has one of those silly WBA belts as well.

The offer to co-promote with Matchroom seems good as well. Obviously something else isn't right so it'll be interesting to hear what that is exactly as - if that offer is all legit - I can't see a logical reason for rejecting it.

    Apparently for his title challenge:

Just a mile or so as the crow flies from Carl's humble beginnings in Tigers Bay, the man they call the Jackal made a jackass of the doubters who thought he couldn't repeat his win of 18 months ago over Martinez, who picked up a badly cut eye as well as a half-million pound pay cheque – twice the purse of the home fighter.

As he is now the champion, it could be substantially more than that per fight. Also I believe Frampton will be getting a cut of the promotion (if profitable) as well as his purse. I would guess he could very possibly be earning at least half a million without Quigg.

60/40 to the winner is a cut of the PPV.

Frampton has done next to nothing to make this fight happen and are turning their noses up at money he will never see against anyone.

    His actions are indefensible.

It looks like it's time to move on. We can wave goodbye to this fight for the time being. :hi:

There's clearly stuff going on we don't know about and it seems no way's it gonna be sorted any time soon.

got a feeling its barry mcguigan being stubborn in all this and you know what irish are like when it comes to being deluded about there own so Frampton probably stands loyal with him

His problem is.... he is being dictated terms for a fight for "his" world title from a challenger who is yet to beat a ranked opponent

all because the challenger has the financial muscle of his promoter and sky TV

if i was Frampton id be telling Quigg, u fight me on my terms in my country or go find another world title to fight for

    simples

they haven't got the money to be able to make them demands, clearly the offer made to Quigg was ALOT lower than the 1.5 being offered to Carl, they're in the sport for the money, not to fight in front of there home support
