If you were Ward would you risk going to Nottingham for a judges decision?

    Of course not.

Dirrell won the majority of the rounds, rocked Froch and almost knocked him out and still got robbed. I cringe to think what would happen to Ward.

    Ward should shoot for:

    Canadian Ref:

    2 US judges
    1 British judge

    Hometown/venue advantage to Froch,

    Seems fair.

hell NO, ward would need 2 ko's to get a draw, probably get dq's for embarrassing froch. seriously look how badly dirrel beat froch, that dec was embarrassing, froch didn't belong in the ring with dirrell

    No it isn't. lol

    Ward fought

    Miranda in Oakland
    Kessler in Oakland
    Allan Green in Oakland
    Sakio Bika in Oakland
Abraham in California (Ward's home state)
Froch in Atlantic city (Ward's home country)
    Dawson in Oakland
    Rodriguez in California

So he's had home court advantage for every single one of his fights against world class opponents and he has never once fought in his opponent's backyard or home country (not sure if he's ever fought any American opponents in their backyards).

20 of his 27 fights were fought in his home state.

When Ward fought Miranda all the officials were from California.

Kessler (referee and one judge from California)

Green (referee and one judge from California)

Bika (referee and two judges from California)

Abraham (referee American, one judge from California. The referee would've been from California for this fight too and maybe another judge had team Ward got their way. Sauerland threatened to pull Abraham out because of that was a breach of the supposed Super Six rules)

Froch (referee American, one judge American. Apparently, according to one or two posters on here, Team Ward tried to get them to stage that fight in California. It was either that or they were trying wangle another Californian referee or more Californian or American judges for the fight (I can't remember exactly what it was now but team Ward were up to something)

    Dawson (two Californian judges)

Rodriguez (referee and all three judges from California)

Go have a gander at how many times all or at least most the officials have been from California for Ward's other pre-Super Six fights in his home state too.

Of his 27 fights, 27 times the third man in the ring was from the USA.

Ward doesn't want to fight anyone in their hometown but he's more than happy to make them to come to his time and time again or his home state or country and have Californian and American officials appointed when they do.

Four of Froch's five fights in the Super Six were on foreign soil, three in his opponent's countries and one in a neutral one. Conversely, ALL of Ward's were in his home country and all but one in his home state. Froch fought Kessler, Johnson and Ward in their countries in that tournament, whereas Ward only had to step out of his home state once and never venture abroad. Froch had also fought in the US twice before the tournament too, the last of which being his FIRST defence of his newly acquired WBC belt against Jermain Taylor yet Ward still had the brazen arrogance and audacity to insist Froch had to come to the US to prove himself despite the fact that he had already done so four times.

One of the most ridiculous aspects about Ward refusing to fight Froch in Nottingham is it won't make a god damn bit of difference what city they fight in over here. If the plan is to rob him they would've do it regardless of the location in the country. Bute didn't have a problem going to Nottingham even though he was the reigning IBF champion and Froch was beltless. Bute took a big pay cut to come over to the UK too. Don't forget that Bute did very well for himself financially headlining over in Montreal and was a hot attraction over there, much more so than Ward is over in the US.

Ward already beat Froch ''easily with a broken hand'' and Froch has only gotten older and been subjected to even more punishment and brain abuse since their first encounter, and it's not like Froch is in the twilight stage of a really hard career or been subjected to tons of physical abuse up until now or anything either lol.

Froch very nearly got knocked out by George Groves and was losing both fights until the finish (well I along with many others had him behind on points in the rematch) and a way past it Kessler hurt him numerous times too. Even Ward's trainer Virgil Hunter is on record as saying that that version of Kessler was ''shot'' and Ward admits he was way past it too.

How outrageous it is to suggest that the ''Son of God'' should ever head over to one of his opponent's backyards or expect him to play by the same set of rules he expects everyone else to play by but refuses to do himself.

Hell no. It's not only the judges Ward should be worried about, it's also the referee. Froch will be allowed to apply UFC tactics while Ward will be reduced to Boxing only.

This fight in Vegas makes no sense as neither fighter is a proven seller in the US, much less to the Vegas crowd.

Ward wasn't involved in robberies, but he got dodgy cards in the Bika fight. No sane person would have scored it 120-108, even 118-110 was reaching.

The way I see it Froch went to AC to fight Ward... the equivalent effort would be for Ward to go to London to fight Froch. Well away from hometown, still in the country.

Why in London? Why not in Scotland or North Ireland? The UK is after all Froch's home country.

So how come Froch didn't want to fight in Oakland?
