    No one disputes Provodnikov's power, he is a heavy handed animal. But he is a neanderthal. Lucas can box, look for openings landing big shots and still detonate him. Provodnikov is without doubt the slowest person in the top 10 at that weight. Lucas's speed advantage and his own power will get him through this with the W.

    I agree that Lucas is a better boxer, but he doesnt have speed advantage, actually Ruslan's hooks are faster...

    And for the record, I like Danny a lot, I want to see him fight top guys only. Being a huge fan of boxing for 50+ yrs I just get perturbed at top fighters being put in with guys way below their talent level just for the all mighty buck. I miss the old days where fighters fought the best regardless of circumstances.

    i'd agree too that Lucas is the better boxer, but ruslan in a lil quicker with his punches.

    Big George said Liston was the most powerful man he's ever fought in sparring .

    Big George then said Lyle was the strongest fighter he's ever faced in his entire career.

    It's funny you say that because when every knowlegable boxing trainer/fighter on YouTube disagrees that ruslan is quicker

    Yea tim bradley was out of shape when he sparred mattyyse and he even admitted he was out of shape and lucas was in fighting shape

    when you are out of shape the punches feel harder FACT!

    Problem I have with Provodnikov is he struggles to go 12 and needs to take breathers, cost him badly vs Bradley and he slowed down only to chop down Alvarado

    He is a poor adjustment maker. Up 10-7 with a a guy with a shut eye he was hitting air all night and incapable of cutting off the ring

    It's a shame he hasn't had a big time fight since Algieri to see where he's at because he looked horrible, not sure if he was exposed or if it was an off night
