    They were a lot of fighters saying Pacquiao punches didn't hurt. They said it was more the speed and angel of his punches, like there were multiple Pacquiao's in the ring with them.

    Floyd's power is definitely underrated. I wouldn't be surprised if he stopped Pacquiao.

    I think the truth about Mayweather's power sits right in the middle of all the guesses.

    He has shown on plenty of occasions that he will not risk his hands if he doesn't have to in order to win.

    However, I think he will sit down on his shots if that's what it takes.

    He probably has plenty of power in that case.

    Pacquiao has power for his size. If he hurts Mayweather or gets far enough ahead, then it becomes a fight at the level of the hype.

    Any debate about power requires the fighter to deliver it- probably more than a few times. We will see who can do that.

    i talked to thurman and asked him if guerrero was his toughest fight and he said yeah he was without hesitation.... so thurman would disagree with you...

    Only one stoppage in the last 8 years might be one reason for the "no power" tag and that stoppage being from a sucker punch.

    He was predominately attacking their bodies to keep them off him.

    In counterpoint, we all know Manny can punch yet Timothy Bradley looked like he could have been modelling skin care products after both fights and Manny was headhunting. No marks, no blemishes, no sweat.

    It works both ways.
