Pron now with fighters are that losses are considered so terrible and potentialy career ending as fans and the media make such a huge deal about it that easy fights are taken. Years a go a loss was just a loss

 

But brook just wants to keep busy as a fighting champ.
May 30th then July 13th. Unlike khan who takes a year break after every fight.

Im not a big fan for this fight with gavin but if brook wins it will enhance hes reputation more and more in the UK scene due to the fact that people in UK know who gavin is. So a win here would no doubt bring in the ppv buys for the brook vs rios fight

 

Difference is Brook did not clearly duck out of a fight.

It's not like Thurman, Bradley or Rios was begging for a fight and calling brook out every day and brook avoided.

Khan ducked both bradley and Brook after offers were put on the table for him to fight.

Khan v Algieri is a better fight than Brook v Gavin. I get why Brook is taking an easy fight because he'll be back out again in the summer against a better opponent but Gavin should not be getting a title shot. Brook is miles better than him.
