    He knows by winning the belt golovkin will be hot on his heels wanting to unify haymon also advised him to forget the belt :yep

    He also says belts mean nothing the reason why he is avoiding winning these belts is because of GGG point blank...........

    I think he understood he could not vacate a belt again so decided to avoid winning it ***** is scared of ggg

    I really dont like quillin, but what does him missing weight have to do with fearing GGG?

    him winning the belt would make golovkin interested and golovkin would want to unify by becoming his mando than he would be forced to fight him or give up his belt

    Good point, he would be pressured by fans and media to unify with GGG but now if he wins he will go on to fight for newly made PBC belts next year.

    This is so obvious to me now it's pathetic....perfect plan by Haymon, win the fight but not the belt, no pressure to fight GGG.

    I bet Haymon already promised Quillin a shot at the PBC trinket

    that's why he doesn't need Lee's belt and he can perpetually avoid a clash with GGG that way

    Omg! You can can't seriously support this theory.....have you not seen some of the posts from the characters on here. One guy ranks GGG near the top p4p based on his potential and not his actual wins.

    Haymon: Peter, just don't do the weight and this way you'll lose your belt and won't have to justify why you don't fight Golovkin. Anyway, I'll make you my new PBC middleweight champion of the world and I don't want Golovkin to beat the champion of the "best" boxing industry of the world.
