I'm unsure what you are trying to say here. :huh Are you saying that McCall could NOT go the distance with Lewis? Because if that's the case you are de facto wrong. If you are trying to make some other sort of point, it seems to me irrelevant to the thread.

I bet the OP never thought of that ;)

Anyway, Ukrainian / Russian are almost the same thing. The Klitschko's refer to the Russians as "brothers" ... although in dismay in that they never thought they would be fighting each other. I remember Vovchanchyn was asked the question "Are you Russian or Ukrainian?" and he gave the right answer : "I am a Slav".

You can't claim Klitschkos to be Ukranian exclusively, despite your obvious agenda. They (like me and many others) were born in USSR, which makes them the children of the soviet union. If you're going to go with Russian fighters only, it would have to be someone born in Russia, so after 1991 essentially.

PS: Povetkin is soviet born as well.

PPS: Both Povetkin and Valuev would last the distance with Lennox.

    A tricky question.

Lasting the distance with Lewis can be hard if his glass jaw was exposed by a puncher.

Here's the end of the thread. A grade B Euro Heavyweight in Zeljko Mavrovic went the distance with a Prime Lennox Lewis. I'm pretty sure Steward was in Lewis corner for that one.

You mean russian boxer from 1998 and later with lenny "british ****" lewis? Vitali shatters british glass, and that's the reason british **** never wanted a rematch. If we talking about russian fighters, so in the street fight fedor would finish him in 15 seconds, karelin would snap his neck in 10.

You are forgetting the fact that Mavrovic's chin was iron. Heck, Vitali supposedly had an iron chin, but still wasn't able to last the distance.

I believe we've already seen a prime Vitali against an old, out-of-shape Lennox... you remember the result of that fight, right?

lennox could beat anyone in history on any given day. he could also be knocked cold by plenty, and taken the distance by hundreds.

Was Lennox Lewis in the best shape of his life for that fight? Yes or no?

    "Race" is a vague concept.
Racists make out there are pure and firm races with different skin colour and physical characteristics, but actually when people starting talking about "race" a couple of hundred years ago they often referred to "the English race", "the French race" etc.

The definitions of the races keep changing, probably because they kind of don't really exist.
