Which fight was more highly anticipated and hyped since the 90s??

    It is so easy to get carried away and say Pac-Floyd is the landslide choice but let us not forget how many years people were asking for Lewis-Tyson. The world was pretty much 50-50 at fight time although in retrospect it was an utter mismatch.

    Also Dela Hoya-Tito and Chavez-Whitaker were top P4P fighters during those times and were all undefeated.

    this is a tough one. i honestly thought there would be much more fan fare, publicity, hype for the pac vs may fight. it will be hard to gauge the answer til after may 2nd but for now i would have to say dlh vs trinidad.

    Am I the only one thinking there hasn't been much hype over this Mayweather Pac fight? There's been a fair bit, but not loads. Maybe because I'm in UK?

    Pac/Mayweather has been the most anticipated. It may no longer be as hyped as it was a few years ago but this fight as been on top of fans must have match ups for half a decade now.

    Pac-Floyd because as hyped as Lewis vs Tyson was that was even more over due when it happpend.

    Tito - Dela Hoya for me.

    The 2 of them fought and beaten the who's who from 140 - 147. They were both undefeated and at the very prime peak of their careers.

    It was not called the fight of the millenium for nothing.

    Its amazing that there are agreat percentage of people on this forum who can't relate or even remember Lewis-Tyson because they weren't old enough and stiil believe that the sport of boxing began with Oscar de la Hoya.

    The Hoya-Tito fight took place about 3 years before Lewis-Tyson!

    Floyd-Manny in 2009 or 10 would have won this by a landslide.
    Today all it will prove today is who is the best fighter TODAY!!!!!! Who still has the most left. That's if Floyd/Vegas change their ways & give Manny a level playing field. Its at least 5 years too late
    Its very similar to Lewis-Tyson though. Tyson ducked Lewis as long as he could. King even paid Lewis $4 mil to step aside with a fake assurance he'd be next. Tyson ducked Lewis till he needed the $$$$ Floyd ducked Manny till Les Moonves & Showtime told him " Fight Pacquaio or ELSE!!!!

    Ive waited over 5 years to see Pacquaio get his hands on Fraud I can wait another few days and watch it for free on HBO or Showtime. No way I'll pay $100
