    :?

Why the hate? Nobody is hyping Warrington up beyond his talents so far. Yes he dose have a large regional following but that's because he's fun to watch and seems likable. Nobody is dressing him up to be anything he isn't yet or won't ever conceivably be (like happened with, say, Buglioni).

Mounemnie, Lindsay, and to an extent Munroe (though shot) are decent names on his record already. Tubieron is a good stepping-stone for him at this stage in his development, too - someone against whom the kid is able to safely log some rounds working on different things as he learns & improves.

He doesn't have the look of a world beater, no, especially with no power, but I see no reason to be so negative about him or the fact that he can pack the house.

What do Filipinos have nowadays? With Pacman retiring soon, Donaire seriously regressing and really not living up to his potential (hype) is there anybody young coming through? (That's promising)

    Round 4

Warrington is taking some right hooks on the shoulder blade & upper spine as Tubieron overreaches and is content to land wherever he can, legal or not. Warrington is still getting in the best licks, jabs and crosses thrown neatly straight into Tubieron's face and equally straight body shots on a descending slope from the high guard, mixed with uppercuts. Tubieron gets his right arm tangled with Warrington's left and Warrington tries to shake him free, shoving with his right arm, pushing Tubieron into the turnbuckle and down. Ruled not a knockdown, correctly.

    10-9 Warrington

    40-36 Warrington

Excellent post, I agree with every word. Never understand why people have to be so negative about young up and coming fighters.

Admittedly lots of their (still) world class guys are getting up there in age.

    Nietes, Tunacao, Pacman, Laurente, Donaire...

They do have Arthur Villanueva, Johnriel Casimero, Genesis Servania, and Michael Farenas in the younger generation, though.

I would pick Selby, they seem to be talking about it, like it is around the corner.
Personally I would like to see the fight next summer.
