we'll soon see i think those two have a good style for ggg , lee would take the fight. Its a long shot but i think they would have more success than anyone else.

I don't think it will be an easy fight for Garcia, but I think he will remind people how good a boxer he is.

I know that but when I yell directions, I expect a fighter to be able to capitalize on an opening that I see.

That's why we work on every punch in the gym.

You can't just work one style.

When you prepare for a fight, you should work predominatly on your game plan, but you should be prepared for the guy to do something else.

In this case Quillin fought at a distance and it should have played right in the hands of Lee. Lee had all the time in the world to operate, but a left straight and a right hook are not the only punches in boxing.

Once he saw Quillin lunging in, he should have seen the opportunity for a counter left uppercut.

And once he saw Quillin's right hand droppin, he should have seen the opportunity for a long left hook behind the guard, preferably disguised as a punch from downstairs.

Lee's coach needs to work on this in the rematch.

Quillin meanwhile, needs to get inside, use his strength and push Lee against the ropes.

Lee is a fighter at heart, so Quillin needs to take advantage of that, and make Lee open up, so Quillin can use his speed on the inside.

A coach should notice this in the FIRST damn round.

    Period.

    A good coach anyway.

Lee vs Eubank Jr would be even better.

    Peterson wins.

Everything Herrera does Peterson does better and harder.

Peterson outboxed Khan, remember. Garcia had to bail himself out with Khan's get-out-of-jail-free button.

Lee is to damn slow. GGG times him and brutally KO him.

Quillin could have won this via KO but he just wouldn't press the action.

if judges score correctly, how they are taught per the rules it wouldn't have been 10/8 in that 2nd or 3nd round kd.

you give the fighter that scores the kd a point for the kd, per scoring rules a kd isn't 2 points, its 1 point.

I know judges for some reason go 10/8 all the time. thing is the fighter that scores the kd usually wins the round too but a kd isn't 2 points, its 1 point.

anyway I had quillin winning while fighting with too much worry about what lee was coming back with. lee was landing god shots the second part of the fight but in my head he needed a kd in the 12th to even get a chance for a legit draw.

have to rewatch again, lee gets tons of credit for surviving the early rounds (he was literally out on his feet after the 1st kd)
2nd kd had him out but the ref didn't count it. landed right at the bell which is supposed to count

    no
I am almost positive the kd at the bell ending round 1 was at the bell which counts. so that evens out the trip kd. but the trip kd a clean shot landed too.

have to watch again, so I can stop rewind and check it out.
too bed instant reply isn't part of boxing. over the next couple decades it will be, I believe
