Yea...Leaving the sport for a fighter who lands 7 power punches during the first 6 rounds is really a noble cause......

you don't have to fight to win rounds. He was outboxing Garcia early. He was making garcia miss and was landing frequently with the jab to the head and body.

 

Garcia was running at the end!! In the CHAMPIONSHIP rounds. :deal

What Lamont did is called "strategy". He moved and frustrated Garcia early, tiring him out, and then starting in the 8th round he began to walk him down and beat the hell out of him.

The last 5 rounds were all Peterson. Are you saying he didn't win 1 round between 1-7? Come onnnnn

 

I still believe we should go back to same day weigh ins.

 

The early rnds Peterson only landed a handful of jabs on a very low output. People se Garcia throw a ton with most of them missing and all they see are the miss while the low output by Peterson makes it look like he is landing nicely. Over all punch landed where the same with Garcia landing the better punch.

 

They showed the power punches for the first 6 rounds...Garcia more than doubled Peterson.

Peterson looked strange in that fight He looked like He was in the first round the entire fight incredible enrgy for a fighter strugling in making the weight and gaining a wopping 22 pounds.

 

Peterson gave away too many rounds. He didn't land anything until the end.
