I wasn't really actively scoring it and was watching it a bit in and out (too much clowning around and other **** for my tastes), but it seemed fairly close to me from what I've seen.

Exactly, people never seem to understand that judging will always lean in favor of power punching as it should, or else we would end up with a game of tag.

Lol....."Peterson makes it looks like he is landing nicely". Wtf! Danny's face showed signs of just how good Lamont was at making it "seem" like he landed punches. And Danny's "better punches" didn't leave any residual effects of their presence.

I didn't score em, but to me, you don't win rounds on your bike unless you land some HURTFUL shots while you're at it (Lara is a guy who is good at this).

Boxing is about beating a person up, not playing tag.

Nah , he looked huge next to Garcia. Danny's punches were bouncing off him.
Peterson was in a different weight class

I say this as a big fan of Sugar Ray Leonard.

He's the worst most biased commentator I've ever heard.

It's not wrong. If you don't make an effort to fight and you are ineffective, the other guy, even if as ineffective, should get the round for trying to make the fight.

Garcia landed more in the early rounds and tried to make the fight, he won them.

Garcia looked bad. Peterson had the best rounds inn the fight, but he didn't win clearly. Peterson didn't look good either though.

    Round 2

Spence is doing solid work behind the ultra-quick right jab, throwing sharp left crosses at the head. Vargas down. Vargas in survival mode, bouncing around, ducking low, swaying over the top rope when he can reach it, keeping his head out of harm's way. Desperate jabs and long loose uppercuts by Vargas backing up. Spence is following cautiously, cutting a path inside, landing crisp southpaw jabs.

    10-8 Spence

    20-17 Spence
