Peterson gave away too many of the early rounds running instead of fighting his fight. Peterson is a great inside fighter yet this dumbass hunter made him fight like rigondeaux and did nothing but run. atschatsch

I agree.. He would have got koed if he fought like that from the beginning.. Garcia was looking sharp early. He just should have worked just a little more in the early rounds.
Peterson was winning some of the early rounds. Even when peterson was moving alot, he was still landing. Garcia hit nothing but arms and airs in most of the rounds. I swear most ppl dont know how to score fights for real.
By the time he started whooping danny he had given away too many rounds. He should have been more active. Doesn't have to stop and go blow for blow, just land some meaningful shots to carry the round. Boxing is about "hit and don't get hit" for the first half of the fight he completley forgot about "hit" and focused only on "don't get hit"
Peterson was also hitting nothing but air. So many jabs and right hands stopping like 6 inches in front of garcia's face
I'm not saying peterson should have slugged it out with garcia early but he should have showed peterson much more urgency to work more instead of running and throwing patty cake shots that weren't landing. I think I had garcia 6-1 going into the 8th round when peterson finally went forward. If peterson won atleast 2 of the 1st six rounds I would have had him winning.
