Thurman's eye is healing slowly but he is feeling good.

Thurman picks Mayweather over Pacquiao. He calls the fight "beautiful". He isn't salty about not getting a crack at either of them (which he might be in a position to if not for them meeting) because this is the right time for them finally to get it on.

He wants to fight in June. He doesn't care whom.

He is hoping an offer that is worth his while, a top-10 opponent, and someone that will make a great battle for the fans, will come along.

the strategy of moving and boxing should be a kind of calculated risk. You are giving up something, to get something. For the strategy to succeed you have to overcome the slight bias to favor the aggressor by landing clean punches. It's not clear Lamont succeeded at that in the early rounds.

Still, I'd argue he nicked the fight 7-5 and the decision was essentially "favor the moneyed fighter" sort of thing.

Ha...yeah the objective evidence was the misleading thing in this fight, not the ridiculously biased commentating. :patsch:patsch

How come nobody is talking about how awful SRL was?? because the ridiculously biased commentating supports your narrative. oooo that's why

DSG is not over rated, he is a very good fighter. Peterson is shamelessly under rated because he got caught with the perfect shot from LM and was stopped in the 3rd. if you get stopped you're a fraud, according to most on here.

Peterson is a beast, especially tonight, 165 of beastly. best shape he's ever been in. I know they all say that but he trained insanely hard for this fight and he BEAT dsg tonight, NO doubt in my mind.

the people claiming he should had fought the whole fight like he did the 2nd half need to understand, the only reason he was able to fight like that was due to how much he had danny swinging and missing for 6 rounds.

danny needs to be given credit for actually surviving and continuing to fight his ass off down the stretch when he had nothing left and was being unloaded on to the head, chin and body. some claiming if Peterson had power. WTF he has tons of power tonight, he has always had good power. he had to tire out DSG enough to be able to take advantage of him down the stretch.

possibly 1,2 rounds earlier and he might've got a kd or even a stoppage but, if he fought like that from the get go he would had been looking at the ceiling at least once that's for sure. good chance he gets hurt bad and he gets stopped. have to use your brain when fighting top level fighters.

all 4 fighters I think deserve credit tonight. especially lee and dsg since they really took most of the lasting beatings. the hardest and most effective shots were landed on the two I mentioned above. neither folded like most fighters do, they were not giving an inch, whatever was given from any of these fighters was really taken from them.

still feel cheated on the decisions tonight. could live with a draw in the second fight but lee really lost. he is getting way too much of the benefit from surviving the first couple rounds to fight competitive but come on now, he needed another kd at least to deserve that draw.

before I get trolled, let me watch again and score like a judge. pretty sure I scored like a fan, still accurate but I wasn't writing anything down. I could've messed up here or there, very rarely happens, but no ones perfect. close, yes I am but not quite perfectO

Peterson fought like a joke tonight. Scared senseless early on, giving tons of rounds up early. Then comes on strong once Garcia's stamina was taxed. An average strategy AT BEST. He didn't want any of Garcia's pop early on. NEXTTTTT

What Danny was given credit for wasn't reality. The punch stats are not used to decide a fight. Nor should you let punch stats to tell you that what your eyes witnessed wasn't real. The punch stats could have all favored Danny.....what I saw was Danny losing the fight on the outside by Peterson's jab.....and on the inside by Lamont's superior inside game. Danny fought Peterson's fight the entire night. When Lamont wanted to box on the outside he did.... when he wanted to to take it to Danny on the inside, he did.....Danny had no answers. But he was game....token win. No one really would want to be Danny at the end of the fight without that gift decision.

    Round 1

Browne is walking forward, jabbing at the much taller and orthodox boxer. Diving in, Browne hooks the body and lobs a high left hand. Pryor clinches. Browne is pushing with his right jab into Pryor's left, batting it away. BIG double left hand up top by Browne. Clinch. Browne is stretching out a high right jab at long range, giving Pryor something to look at. Browne swats with the jab and dips to let a Pryor jab skid off his shoulder. BIG overhand attack by Browne rushing in, imposing his strength on Pryor. Clinch by Pryor, not letting Browne land many clean shots at once.

    10-9 Browne

I am bashing the "Peterson was robbed" crowd. But I'm definitely not bashing Peterson. He's a very good fighter. I think he's clearly the third best fighter at 140 (well the old 140 I guess, since Garcia is moving up). T

If a tall, skinny guy can be "fat," Aaron Pryor Jr. is fat skinny guy. His build is really odd.
