that's not how judges actually score. a clean jab is a scoring shot and defense IS a scoring criteria judges are supposed to take into account. they only really do if the round is that close with clean effective punching, they then have to think of the rest of the scoring criteria.

bothers me so much that they almost refuse to score even rounds. if s round is even, then its ****ING even. what is wrong with even rounds ? why does the judges preferred style get a bonus round and why does the other just as deserving fighter get the short stick. wtf even rounds are BETTER than having to give it to someone.

that's my biggest complaint on scoring fights, the lack of even rounds being scored

To say Peterson landed anything more than glancing jabs the first half of the fight is not reality.

Peterson was a joke that first half, and the only thing that kept you from realizing that was SRL's ridiculous commentary. Peterson had 1 good round during the first 9 rounds....numbers ain't got nothing to do with that.

    Round 2

Browne is jabbing steadily out and up into Pryor's chest. Watch the birdie action from Browne, then cutting a hard left into the skinny lower torso. Pryor is jabbing, flapping down with the right and leaning down on Browne.

    10-9 Browne

    20-18 Browne

A clean jab should not be scored as significant of a shot as a clean power punch to the body...sorry

Garcia was landing clean power punches while Peterson was landing glancing jabs...You can't yell at people for not scoring clean jabs when you refuse to score clean shots to the body.

    Farhood has it 20-18 Browne.

Pretty hard to screw this one up so far. Very straightforward to score.
