Once he retires? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? Or will he plough his cash into a sports team/app/business and make more money out of the ring than in it?
10-20 years. 50 Cent said Floyd has no clue on how to make his money work for him. He claims to own rental property in Los Angeles but 50 said that was a lie.
I don't imagine it'd last longer than a few years. The dude is into betting which is a form of gambling. Gambling can make you go penniless in a very short time no matter how much money you have.
Being broke for Floyd and broke for you means two different things. Right now Floyd has it set up where he can spend a million dollars a month for the rest of his life. He might not be able to spend like he's spending now but he could maintain a respectable life. You can live like a king on what Floyd considers broke.
Actually this is a decent discussion. I hope he never goes broke but boxers/athletes need some sort of insurance to protect them from going broke. Rich athletes going broke after retirement happens much more frequently than people'd imagine.
