Name the ATG or ATGs you would send in with the best odds of KOing Wladimir Klitschko. I say: (some of these are very close in their order, all in their Prime)
    1. Sonny Liston
    2. George Foreman
    3. Joe Louis
    4. Ali (late round attrition KO)
    5. Lewis

This next list is wishful thinking, but I'd love to see these guys (all on their best night) overcome their size disadvantage and knock Wlad out:
    1. Marciano
    2. Frazier
    3. Dempsey

Wlad would beat Sam and it wouldn't be close. We are talking about a 6'6" wlad vs a 5'6" Sam. The 12" height advantage coupled with wlad being one of the best masters in controlling range/distance...you have a mismatch. Sam had trouble with tall fighters with rangy jabs(Fulton). Sam even said he couldn't stop fultons jab. Can you imagine how overwhelmed Sam will feel when he faces possibly the most athletically gifted super heavyweight of all time? A super heavyweight with elite boxing skills, huge two fisted knockout power, an ATG left jab, great hand speed, and incredible physical strength?

I can imagine. The 5'11" Chagaev beat the unbeaten 7' Valuev.
Valuev was much more better fighter than your "wlad".
    Puritty destroyed this superhuman "wlad".
Was Puritty skilled and athletic fighter ? Never .He's an all-time bum.
Sanders athletic talent was zero and he destroyed and humiliated
"wlad". Langford was much more muscular than the chicken
    Sanders.

Langford knocked the tall hard-punching Godfrey in the first
    round.
Langford beat the 6'6" Tate by DQ for HOLDING !
Your wlad is 6'6" and a coward holding guy.

I'd say that somebody like Marciano poses a unique stylistic challenge for Wlad, and that he would give him a rough night at the office - but that his small size may well see him lose.

Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali have got to come to mind because of their individual excellence. Holmes ... I think Klitschko would beat, but I could be wrong. The battle of the ATG jab would have been worth seeing.

I'd have liked to have seen a prime Sanders in with a better prepared Wlad. I think it would have been a good one.

Oh ... and of course, Vitali. I reckon big Klitschko would take care of business against junior.

Tyson. Ali, Holmes, Foreman and maybe Liston, Marciano or Louis. That's it.

Lewis would be dangerous but I don't see him beating Wlad.

First of all Sam was 5'8 not 5'6 you're using the measurement from the start of his career when he was still growing

Now Wlad is a great range controller but has he ever met anyone who can get past a jab like old Sam I doubt it

Has he ever fought anyone as fast or hard hitting as Sam I doubt it

You have to remember Sam was a giant killer size advantages mean less to him than any other boxer in history

I feel Sam could do the job and your opinion cannot persuade me otherwise

The most stupid part of your post was where you said it wouldn't even be close

    Hang your head in shame

Great post Langford would destroy the sanders who beat wlad

One thing you don't want to do is hold Langford

Bruce Lee stole the one inch punch from dempsey who stole it from Langford who knocked men down with it
